A few readers have noted that this site is being blocked in their workplaces. While there is probably nothing I can do about that, I would like to hear about any problems you may be having. You can leave a comment on any post or write to ntmtom@notthatmiketheothermike.com.

I LOVE the derby beagle header photo!!
I’m adding my vote for the blargggghhhhh-a-licious basset derpitude as part of your design. Suits the sub-heading. Oh, and no trouble with blockages here at my happily self-employed ‘puter!
That beagle looks uncaninely like what I saw in the mirror this morning…
NTMTOM I use a iPad and iPhone. Cannot see hover texts. Is there a work around for that?
I might be able to rig up something. I’ll put that on my list.
I’m in the same boat, NTMTOM,
and have felt deprived. A fix would
be welcome.
Also, I like being able to reply directly
to a post, the way we could back in
the day on that other site. Good.
For alt-text (“hover text”) on iOS devices I use this. Works like a charm.

I recall recommending that trick to readers on the old site, and it does work. But I’m going to look into rigging up something that works on its own, without requiring readers to do anything.
No problems here – I’m on a Mac Mini desktop and all looks good (home-based, no employer to block sites).
Oh, I just noticed – you can go back and forth between previous/next posts, without going back to the main screen. Nifty!
Oh I hope he keeps that. That was one of the things I missed most after the CO redesign.
On hovertexts, I have a Samsung tablet and discovered recently if you press and hold on the picture, it pops up a box with various options (save, copy url, etc.) and if there is a hovertext it shows at the top of the box. Don’t know if that works on Apple devices or not.
Yep, keeping that. FYI, most WordPress blog theme packages have some sort of article-to-article navigation built in. I like the way the links are presented in this theme.
Yay!
Oh, and the poster’s name above the post rather than on the side is much better, if you ask me!
LOL’ing at new category titles ‘Stimulus’ and ‘Response’!
