Meanwhile, at the He-man Marmie-Haters Club…

“G’wan, scram! This club is for scary black cats only! We give people bad luck! You can’t give people bad luck, because you’re orange! E-e-e-e-ew!

“Yeah! I bet when you cross someone’s path, he, um… gets some… er… delicious oranges! Yeah! So get lost, you stinky orange doodyhead!”

Hello, I’m trying an experiment. Flickr provides an handy photo embed system that makes it easier for me to add pictures and satisfy the Creative Commons attribution requirement. Unfortunately, it doesn’t allow hovertext. So I’m just using it with this one photo for now. Update: That didn’t work out so well.

NTMTOM I cannot see hovers on iPad. Is there a work around for that?
Doodyhead = last resort when ur out of retort!

Faye, I’m still looking into a hovers solution for touch screens. There is actually no hovertext at all on this photo, because of the embedding method.

I know that this does not have hovers. NTMTOM can you make a tutorial tab on the site re technical stuff. I never learned how to share a video or a pic in comments on CO. Thank you. ?

Faye, I’m looking for a method that doesn’t require a complicated tutorial, something that “just works,” to quote the good people at Apple.

          • Faye November 18, 2015 / 12:18 pm

Yes. That’s why I’m a long time Apple aficionado. But can you put a button in comments box so we can attach videos or pics like on other site. I have no idea how to do that. One last question: who owns the Lololo Blowfish now? That was an epic NTMTOM.

          • Faye November 18, 2015 / 12:20 pm

Sorry. I meant like on FB not CO. I didn’t know how to do it on CO. Thank you. Again.

I use an iPhone. I touch and hold the picture and a list of options pops up. At the top of the list is what I think is the hover text. I read it then hit cancel at the bottom of the list.

        • Haha November 18, 2015 / 1:36 pm

On my iPhone using the method that I described above the Pink Post said, “This pinks…..I mean stinks.”
They are usually humorous, is this truly the hover text?

          • Haha November 18, 2015 / 2:20 pm

No apologies from you. I apologize for making it sound like I didn’t think it was funny when in fact your wit continuously makes me smile. I was just asking if I truly was reading the hover text on my touch screen.
Keep on keeping on NTMTOM. You work IS appreciated. 🙂

THANK you, Haha, for that tip! For the first time ever I can see hovers on my ipad! Yea!?

      • Mikeyfur November 18, 2015 / 2:18 pm

I can see a hover. Poor old black and white Harold has to sit in the back.

        • Faye November 18, 2015 / 7:27 pm

Omgosh thank you HaHa! I will try.

          • Faye November 18, 2015 / 7:35 pm

            Hovers achieved.

The adorable orange morsel does not seem to be fazed by The Dark Brotherhood of Whiskered Ninja on the inside… probably contemplating ways to drive them crazy…I LOVE marmies!

NTMTOM, so glad you’re here! You consistently made my day on “the other” site… I raise my crystal champagne glass ($1.95 at the Dollar Store) in a toast to wish you great success!!! 😀

Just place all the kitties in the box and nobody gets hurt! 🙂

I cannot see the picture at work with this new method but that is probably due to the browser being so out of date, I could see the We wear pink on Wednesday earlier. I will check it out on my iPod when I’m on my break latter (they have wifi in the restaurant downstairs).

      • Gigi_the cat lady November 18, 2015 / 5:38 pm

I don’t know if you replaced the photo, but I’m home now and have no problem seeing it. Like I said the browser at work is very old there’s a lot to sites I can’t even log on.

        • Not That Mike The Other Mike November 18, 2015 / 5:42 pm

Yes, I inserted the picture in the normal way, which is what I will continue to do.

          • Faye November 18, 2015 / 7:30 pm

NTMTOM I suspect that a good portion of what you do is not normal. Weirdly exceptional?

            • Not That Mike The Other Mike November 18, 2015 / 7:39 pm

Nah, I’m mostly normal in real life. It’s just that I know this ONE WIERD TRICK…

  6. one cranky lady November 18, 2015 / 7:36 pm

This sounds like an interaction one might come across in the Harry Potter books — if it were enacted by cats. (With the Weasleys played by marmies, natch!)

If you trade from home, or are a road side mechanic, a much cheaper
roadway dangers only policy is adequate for you.

    • Not That Mike The Other Mike December 2, 2015 / 10:56 pm

Look, you seem like a well-informed spambot, so I’m going to defer to your judgement on auto insurance. If you say a roadway dangers only policy is enough, then I’m sold. I just have one favor I’d like to ask of you.

Could you farm something else besides triggers? We seem to have enough already.

When you complete your apprenticeship the income for a motor mechanic is constantly basically below
    other trades.

    • Not That Mike The Other Mike December 2, 2015 / 10:43 pm

That’s really good career advice, spambot! I will keep that in mind.

However, I need to request that you stop calling yourself “Rock Distant.” That’s my porn name.
