Shopping at Amazon?

First, a shout-out to Eve S. for her tip. Thank you, Eve.

As we celebrate (or avoid) this after-Thanksgiving period (I refuse to use the apocalyptic name the media seems to have settled upon), I direct your attention to the sidebar of the site, where I’m experimenting with different Amazon.com affiiate offers. When you begin your shopping adventure on this site, I get a small affiliate payment.

This is the last bit of monetizing I plan to do with the site, and I hope you don’t find it annoying or intrusive. I welcome your comments and do what I can to act on them.

Neither annoying or intrusive. You set up this site because your devoted fans begged you to, and since contributing towards its upkeep is entirely voluntary, anyone who doesn’t want to or can’t afford to doesn’t have to. Easy solution. And for those of us who use Amazon a lot, this is a very simple way to let our online shopping work to your benefit.

Considering that my husband, who rarely laughs out loud, has broken out in total belly laughs at several of your photos, it’s well worth any contribution I can make! 🙂

I shop at Amazon all the time. It’s easy to go there through your site since I’m here frequently. I don’t understand how it works though. If I click on the Amazon gift card thingie do you get credit only if I buy an Amazon gift card or can I continue on Amazon to whatever else I want and you’d get credit for whatever it is I buy?

You may continue into the darkest regions of Amazon, and I will get an affiliate payment for your purchases in that session.

I may set up other links besides gift cards as we move into the gift season.

Worlds collide. My two most visited websites have converged. And one gives money to the other! If it was a time portal, I couldn’t be more excited. I buy everything but food through Amazon. NTMTOM you’re gonna need a bigger portal. ?

I’m an avid reader and buy all my books from Amazon.com so I’ll be very happy to use the link on your site to buy them.

Not annoying/intrusive here either (Mac desktop) – I think it’s a great idea.

I buy A LOT from Amazon, and I’m here a lot, so I’m glad to be able to contribute in that way! ?

    can’t resist sharing this joke:

why did Adele cross the road?

she wanted to say hello from the other side

cute or not cute? (I’ll see myself out…)

Just click your amazon ad then shop? That easy?

    • Not That Mike The Other Mike November 27, 2015 / 10:25 pm

Easy peasy! According to Amazon, shoppers have to complete an order within 24 hours for me to get the credit. If you take more time than that, just return here, click the link again, and complete the order.

        Great, thanks!
