The Lighthouses of New England

These are the steadfast sentinels, lighting the way along the rockbound coasts from Kenneysbunkmate, Maine all the way to Lobster Winkle, Mass. Tonight, on PBS’s “Backwoods Travels,” we’ll speak with the keepers of these classic old lighthouses, and learn their tips to keep from hallucinating during the long winter — excuse me, we’re trying to film a documentary here, you’re in our shot…

Well, at least it is not an Eagle.
    Grrrr 🙁

You’re not fond of eagles? Do tell!

Pats fan here so I am feeling like crabby mccrabberson this week… 😀

Oh, of course! How silly of me. I’m in Canada so NFL football’s not the first sport that pops into my head. I know, right? How embarrassing! 😉

Pats are the ones who should be embarrassed,
Michelle P. We Iggles fans are still in shock, and
it’s Wednesday already. Any given Sunday.
            *hee hee*

          Awwww! With the Pats’ record
          don’t feel bad!

😀 I have heard my Philly friends pronounce it Iggles.

Don’t be embarrassed at all Michelle P! BTW I was in Toronto last year for a work meeting and it was super nice! Any place with a SHOE MUSEUM is 100% aces.

I always cheer for the Baltimore Ravens…for the very scientific reason that I love ravens & crows, not because I’m anywhere near Baltimore, LOL.

I root for the Giants for the totally legitimate reason that my father hates them.

One of my favorite parts of Finding Nemo. 🙂

      Mine.

      • allein December 9, 2015 / 9:50 am

After these few comments the word “mine” looks really weird to me now. :p

    Heyyy!! Whatcha doing??? Huh,Huh??????

NTMTOM is too funny, all day at work today I’m just laughing and trying not to snort liquid onto my computer screen. I love reading the story and then scrolling down to see the pix.

    • Raymond December 8, 2015 / 9:30 pm

I concur re: NTMTOM’s brilliance. Also, I think you’re channeling the bird who bothers Buggy Swires in Terry Pratchett’s Night Watch: “What’s happening, mister?”

Huh, I was curious about the hallucinations. Maybe technicolor narwhals?

Wonderful! And bonus points for the Cthulhu reference in the video.
