Teenage Memories

When she was younger, Becky Flasswinder was so infatuated with heartthrob meowing sensation Turk Furbles that every morning she would rub against his picture in the latest issue of Feline Dream magazine while imagining they were married.

Are you sure it wasn’t ‘Tiger Beat’? 😀

Brilliant! I came down here to say that but ya beat me to it, SmartyPants!

Meowing sensation? My boy Wacket would sit on the toilet seat cover, push the bathroom door shut, and raise his voice in song. There was an echo with the door shut and I believe he enjoyed that.

I had a cat that did that also and he perfered doing it around 2 o’clock in the morning! He wouldn’t stop until I yelled : Shut up Pavarotti!
It wouldn’t work if I used his real name and yelled : Shut-up Patch, it had to be Shut up Pavarotti.

That is absolutely hilarious!!! I think he knew who exactly Pavarotti was and wanted to be likened to him. Cats must love bathroom acoustics.

This is why the silence of bunnies is golden! Thumping and dish-throwing can’t compare to the yowling of a cat, especially at night!?

I first read it as the silence of the bunnies, as in a parody or something of “The Silence of the Lambs” O_o *shakes head at herself*

That would be a hilarious parody!

It’s OK Becky Flasswinder, I used to do the same thing with photos of Davy Jones.

Didn’t we all with the teen appropriate heartthrob for our age group? I think it’s universal amongst teenage females of all species. 🙂

I like to think she’s a modern gal and chooses to hyphenate… Rebecca Flasswinder-Furbles. That’s got a nice ring to it.

Furbles are what my cats hack up every two days, like clockwork, on my bathmat. Never on the tile floor next to the bathmat.

No, no, Becky is better. Rebecca is what they call you when you are in trouble.

    speaking from experience…..
