Your Guide to Southwestern Sights

In a quiet park on the outskirts of Albuquerque, a little-known monument honors a fateful moment in show-business history. Known to the locals as the “Bugs Bunny Cactus,” the prickly pear sprouted naturally at the exact time and place where the famed cartoon rabbit should have taken that infamous left turn. And if indeed the rascally rabbit had changed course, the livesĀ of hunters, genies, bulls, and other cartoon stooges would have been very different.

Personally, I think that they should have a statue, of Bugs and Daffy half emerged from a hole and peering over a map.
