Monkey Around for a Spell

Sure, we’ve all speculated about what might happen if you sat a hundred monkeys at a hundred typewriters, but what if the hundred monkeys were the typewriter? Mind blown, right? Well, that’s what happened at the Awaji Island Monkey Center, which celebrated the Chinese year of the monkey by spelling the word “monkey” with monkeys.

    I know I’m weird but I would love to live where there are monkeys. I, for one, don’t believe that they are always flinging poo.

      I’ve often wondered how much of that behavior is a cliche, something people believe because they hear it all the time. I also think it reflects peoples’ experiences with monkeys in captivity, as opposed to in the wild.
