Can’t Catch Me!

I don’t have anything snarky to add here, there isn’t a single joke I could tell that will match the fun of what you’re about to see when you press play. All I can say is this: I want to be that boy or that gorilla, and I’m not particularly fussy about which.

Kindred spirits recognizing each other. VERY sweet! Thanks for the smile

The young of every species know the value of play and friendship.

The gorilla seems to be about the same size as the boy, so I would guess they are about the same age, or at least close to it. I can imagine bebbeh ‘rilla telling his/her mom about playing with a (mostly) hairless friend.

I’ve seen this before. My main concern was what if mama (who probably is in the background watching) decided to run full speed and crash into the glass front. I’ve seen where glass in those display areas can at least crack with the weight of an adult gorilla. That would certainly be scary. But it is cute to see them playing together. 🙂

From what I read about gorillas, the dominant male would be the one to charge, assuming there’s one about. Also, gorillas prefer to charge as an attempt to intimidate, which often works well enough to ward off actual violence.

So sweet – they’re both going to need graham crackers and a nap after all that running around!

Wonder how many times little gorilla has played that game with visitors.?

I love these videos where WE entertain THEM – the eel with the sax player, the primate with the fellow who does the magic trick, etc.

Years ago I got the chance to ‘dance’ with one of the harbor seals at the New England Aquarium, and it was just unforgettably awesome.
