It’s Sarge, the tough-but-loveable character from Pixar’s new movie, “Bags!”

    Who would do the voice?

    • allein January 15, 2016 / 10:16 am

I can hear the voice in my head, but I can’t think of what movie/character/actor it is.

I didn’t know his name but that’s who I was picturing.

        • Kay Fabe January 15, 2016 / 10:35 am

That’s who I was thinking of, but for some reason I thought he was dead.

        • allein January 15, 2016 / 10:56 am

I think that’s it. I’ve never actually seen the movie but I’ve clips from it. Will have to wait until I get home to confirm (youtube’s blocked at work…it’s like they want us to do work or something while we’re here).

          • allein January 15, 2016 / 10:56 am

I’ve *seen* clips. Geez, I need an edit button.

Nothing but slug-a-beds and goldbrickers here, I tells ya!

Become a librarian. Internet all day as job skill. Work window open on top of personal window. No block because we have to assist patrons with any and everything on line. Only made, porn and personal shopping are considered not professional. One drawback: no speakers, no headphones. Lol.

            Hmm…perhaps a career change is in order…

          • 6rabbits January 16, 2016 / 11:21 am

Okay, Faye, how do you get a job as librarian? What educational requirements? (Seriously, I don’t know how long I can keep teaching and stay sane.)

          • Faye January 16, 2016 / 3:54 pm

Hi 6Rabbits, 50% of librarians have been teachers. Your education and skills are perfect for librarianship. Actually librarians are teaching people all day whether they work with adults or children. Look for colleges that offer masters degrees in Library or Information Science. It takes two years. You can also do the course work online. We had at least two librarians in our library do that. Make sure the school or online is accredited with the ALA the American Library Association. There is a great career ladder from Librarian Trainee right up to Library Director. Librarianship is tracing one on one without the classroom hassle. Public Librarianship is different from School Librarianship. I loved it. I did Public as Cildren’s Librarian for 10 years then Adult for 15. You end up working with infants through seniors of every kind. If you need more info we can “get together” somehow. I will tell you: librarians are underpaid compared to teachers with the same education and experience but there are a zillion pluses

            *teaching one on one

          • 6rabbits January 17, 2016 / 2:14 am

Thank you, Faye! I LOVE teaching, but I HATE testing testing testing! AND people without any educational experience
(*cough* politicians) deciding what’s “best” for children. I know librarians are underpaid, but I’m used to working an extra
3-3.5 hrs. each day, plus 4-6 more on the weekends, so I’d like to have a life. ? Working one-on-one with someone would be cake after dealing with 25-30 kids at once for 6.5 hours every day!! I’ll let you know if I need more info. THANKS!?

            Good luck 6Rabbits.
            Go for it. ??????

I’d be ornery too if I had nylon cord coming out of my eye.

  4. Faye January 15, 2016 / 11:24 am

My response as I stay in bed avoiding yet another Big Shop:

    Just zipp it!

Huh, here I was thinking that the quality of work on Face Off had fallen off sharply.

Maybe its me but I clearly see a witch. Witchy-poo
