Ok. One question. Why did he have a giant man sized Panda suit in the first place? 🐼
This is exactly what happens when infrastructure grinds to a halt and no one can get to work.

Wait, I didn’t see the tail. Is it an invisible cautionary tail? If so, how would that work? ; )

He has the costume because he apparently bought it to celebrate the birth of his first daughter, and has been wearing it ever since on Halloween. His kids love it. He’s local to me, so they did a write up in our paper.
It didn’t explain WHY the birth of his first daughter prompted him to get a panda suit, just that it was the reason. Seems logical to me?

Well that explains it!! Funny daddies are special.

Tru dat. I would much rather have been rollin around in a panda suit than shoveling for 4 hours.
          Pandas don’t have to shovel.

I vote for the real panda, having fun in the snow. To me, animals doing what comes natural to them is usually cuter than a hoomin trying to copy them. I’m sure the hoomin in the panda suit was having fun, too.

Reader Lady VW shared this with me: “This letter appeared in the letters to the editor after the panda man story. The Capital newspaper, 1/29/16. The ‘crapital,’ as some of us locals ‘lovingly’ refer to the paper, is not known for spelling and grammar.”

      That. Is. Funny.
