That’s Not How to Use a Dumbbell

“Yanno, I really owe you an apology here, because when you said you were buying me athletic equipment and putting me on an exercise regimen, I thought it was going to be a lot of hard work, but this is easy! This chin-up bar is so low to the ground, I’ve been doing reps all morning! Why didn’t anybody tell me this sooner?”

That’s exactly how I use mine too – how else am I going to hold my head up while I’m watching TV and eating Funyuns? 😀

Stationary bikes are also great exercise equipment and they make very good clothes racks after the first 2 weeks

I can vouch for the fact that a stationary bike makes a great parrot stand, too.

I agree! At least the cat hasn’t hung any clothes or cat toys on the bar yet!

Well, Macau did have to actually walk to the weight, you know, maybe even several feet! A workout like that can really take it out of you!

Macey’s working smarter not harder, combining the low chin-up with the classic Just Lie There(tm) exercise.
