How Much Maru Is in the Box?

OK, this is going to be like one of those contests where you have to guess how many jellybeans are in the jar, only the challenge is: how much of Maru is in the box? Is it a small box? Is it bigger than it appears? Can Maru even fit completely inside of it? Does that even matter with Maru? Press “play” and make your guess as quickly as you can, then see if you were right.

And thanks to Andrew Y. (I didn’t forget this time — yay, me!)

    Oh Haaaaaa
I saw his tail and thought he had busted out the back of the box. Then I watched his annoyed crinkles on his head. How…Why…What…
    No points for my guess.

    “If I fits, I…um, wait a minute…”

Only Maru would find this to be a comfortable way to sit in a box. Seriously, that cat needs major boxhab! 🙂

I believe the correct answer to NTMTOM’s riddle is that it doesn’t even matter with Maru! All that matters is that there is a box.

    Yay for quick posting >:D
This definitely has to be one of my fave Maru videos so far XD

This is one of my faves, too! Maru needs another box for his back legs!

Hail Maru, King of Boxes! (and welcome to you, first-time commenter, glad to have you here.)

I had to come back and look at it again this morning. Still hilarious 😀 😀
I love how Maru will not accept that there is a box he cannot fit in, his face is the picture of perseverance but his tail is the picture of annoyance. 😉

I loved the tailio action too!

I may laugh all day over this!

Saffron, hope you’re back on your feet soon.

Maru is making the best of the situation but is definitely not entirely pleased with it! ?

Maru is one with the box. He has transcended boundaries, and he and the box are the same.

  11. Jlamusings January 30, 2016 / 11:23 am

So is he both in the box and not in the box simultaneously if we don’t watch to the end to to find out? 😉

I was right, only his front feet were in the box. Having seen him try to get in boxes that were not big enough for all four feet it was no surprise.

Maru is always pristine-looking, not a spot on him, or a fur out of place; kinda like the floor of Mogumugo (hope I spelled it right; my spell-checker is having fits, right or wrong…..!) 😆

What would Schrodinger say? (Apologies for likely mis-spelling)

I never thought Maru would be a box filled with half of a cat kind of guy.

Love the sure I’m totally comfortable (not) tail thwapping. And the move along human there’s nothing to see here expression. Totally hilarious kitty.

    Oh, Maru! Poor baby!

Oh well, for Maru boxes are like buses — if one’s too crowded, there’s always another one coming soon. (And welcome to the site, new commenter! Great to have you here!)

I thought it was just his head perched on top of a tiny box. I was not expecting his legs to be in. The twitchy tail misled me.

    “I’m IN THE BOX!”

    “Uh, Maru, you realize–”

“QUIET, HUMAN. I AM IN THE BOX.”

    • Not That Mike The Other Mike February 1, 2016 / 11:01 am

Good call, Dee — NEVER argue with Maru. 😀 😀 😀 (and welcome to the site, first-time commenter, glad to have you here!)
