“… and now, as you listen to the soothing forest stream and the chirping of birds, you will hear messages to help you remain focused. No, you don’t want to chase the birds, they are simply part of the relaxing environment in which to… I don’t know what kind of birds they are, that’s not important. Now, just relax and let your mind… Will you stop chasing the birds already? I mean, they’re in the trees, you can’t even reach them! All right, forget about the birds, I’m turning off the birds. There. Now you can relax and listen to the stream and the gentle wind blowing the leaves across the — will you stop chasing the leaves?!”

I like how he and his bunny buddy have matching ears-up.
I can’t help it: all pugs-in-my-mind sound like Frank the Pug from Men in Black, singing Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive”.
I’m the same, all pugs are called Frank and all crows are Randolph, after Randolph Flag of The Stand.
Aww…the little cowlick of fur on his chest! I love pugs so much.
Pug subliminal basics:
Keep a tight tail curl. Never unfurl.
A tight nosie is a great nosie.
Head tilt. To the left. To the right.
The more forehead wrinkles the more treats.
Simultaneously farting and snoring must take place in the bed. Under the covers equals extra points.
You are The Pug!
oh the dreaded dutch oven of farts lol!
?
Dogs under the covers, always worth it no matter what!!
If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter: mind over matter.
I too have been lying in bed for the last 2 days after hurting my back in a bad fall, but I don’t look nearly that cute!
Oh no! Get well and I hope you’re up and about soon!
Seriously, how awful Gigi. 🙁 I walk everywhere and run; luckily so far this year I have only wiped out once (thank-goodness) so I am aware of how scary and vulnerable the feeling is. Feel better soon; ‘they say’ getting up and walking (although sore/painful) helps, is better in the long run…
Rest and take care, Gigi! I hope you are back on your feet soon. In the meantime, you have NTMTOM and re wonderful community here to keep you entertained!☺
Ow! I hope you’re getting good medical help. As someone with a permanently bad back, you have my total sympathy. Is it just a sprain/strain, or did something worse happen? If it’s the former, a really good massage therapist can be very helpful in working out the spasms. Years back I wrenched my back, just muscular, and it was a massage therapist who returned me to normal.
Thanks everyone, you guys are great! My back is slowly getting better, the kitties are in bed with me and my hubby is taking very good care of me.
I am glad to hear that! Keep us posted on how you are doing! (Not that kitties are self-centered or anything but they probably don’t mind a bit that you are laid up; they have you right where they want you! ☺)
Take care as you mend. Treat yourself to something delicious.
Kudos to your hubby for taking good care of you. get well soon. One word: MASSAGE.
Massage is the cure! And when you can, gentle yoga stretches. Feel better very soon!
Feel better soon Gigi!!!! <3 <3 <3
