THAT is the world I want to live in.

I love this – he’s so happy riding along at the end!

The look on his face is just bliss!

This is hilarious and gave me a good laugh, great way to start today!

Well, my cats have a complaint about this. They have ‘worked’ so hard to maintain their reputation as furry slugs and here comes this cat showing that cats can actually be ambulatory. This is not good. Jesper is that one kid in class that ruins the grading curve for everyone else. Because my cats are not amused by this, they have taken to their bed (formerly my bed) and need at least a solid 20 hour nap to recover from viewing this OUTRAGEOUS video.

Just have to give you Kudos for that comment. ^_^

I love your comment! Was thinking along the same lines–other cats disowning Jesper from the breed becos he was leashed AND working–and for his human slave, of all incomprehensible things!

Somewhere out there a secret conclave is being held for the express purpose of ejecting Jesper from the Royal and Omnipotent Company of Ruling Felines for this unforgivable treason against his species!

    • Stressfactor February 16, 2016 / 10:26 am

Not really though. It looks like Jesper might be of the breed known as the Norwegian Forest Cat (the breed also provided some of its genes to the Maine Coon cat) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwegian_Forest_cat The Norwegian Forest Cat are more hardy and high-energy than many domestic house cats and they have a reputation of being tough and hardy hunters.

So Jesper here is just upholding the proud lineage of a different breed of cat!

Let’s not forget goddess Freya’s carriage was pulled by cats… they were probably Norwegian forest cats πŸ˜‰

          Great post!!

        • jerzowa February 16, 2016 / 3:52 pm

I think Jesper IS one of Freya’s cats! πŸ™‚

I absolutely *LOVE* NTMTOM and the comments which can, in more than 50% of the cases, elicit a Ray Stevens flashback. Case in point: this comment by Beemoused which flipped my brain to the Shrine Convention after only six words

OMG, too funny! I was thinking the same thing when I saw the words “a secret conclave”.

“Listen Coy (or Jesper) you have embarassed us all, when we get back to Hahira, you can just turn in your ring
And your tie tack ’cause Coy, you are out of the shriners! You gonna be blackballed, Coy! That’s right!”

And Jesper is just adorable! Wish I had a kittie like that.

I believe it was a secret meeting in the dead of the night with mysterious sanctimony, in accordance with prescribed rituals of time honored ceremony…

Jesper has indeed ruined it for all the sluglike kitties out there! I love this.

  6. Brouhaha February 16, 2016 / 10:22 am

Hmm. My kitty is still to kittenish to be a slug, but she would never tolerate a leash, and would certainly never pull me on ski’s.

  7. Faye February 16, 2016 / 10:36 am

My cat MIGHT drag me to the can opener, maybe.

    One word for Jesper: zesty!!

  8. Claire February 16, 2016 / 1:37 pm

Look at all the beautiful adventures he goes on – he also swims and has cool horse friends!
https://www.instagram.com/jesperpusen/ Norway is clearly some kind of magical wonderland.

I absolutely love Jesper; and I am totally enamored of Norwegian Forest Cats, & next, Maine Coon Cats….
(in my perfect world, I would have these and all the other pets I wanted…… yah, in my dreams!!!)

  10. Faye February 17, 2016 / 1:02 am

I’m a happily devout homebody, but seeing Jesper’s adventures in the forests made me a bit jealous.

There shall be no conclave to oust Jesper. He has, in fact, trained his human minions to provide air travel. Level 8 out of 10 in human minion training manual. Impressive.
