Marble Music Maker Man

It takes balls to play this one-of-a-kind musical instrument — about 2,000 of them, bouncing in a prearranged pattern to play xylophone, bass, and drums. Suggested by reader A M, thank you!

This is fascinating! Such imagination to come up with this invention.

Pretty neat; mind you, with my ‘advancing age’ ahem, they all begin to look like Beck or Ryan Adams to me. Still despite his cult leanings, I like Beck… the other guy, well *eye roll* 😀 folktronica!

I am flabbergasted by the amount of work and ingenuity that when into make that musical instrument.

I had what I call a presbyopia (“old eyes”) moment – I read it first as “alien wrench.”

Not bowled over by the music itself, BUT OH MY GOSH, it takes someone with the technical/mechanical ingenuity of a Leonardo da Vinci to come up with this machine!!!!! Not to mention remarkable muscle power to operate it, all the more remarkable in this uber-slender dude.
