Star Trek Trivia Time

In addition to the well-known “Vulcan Nerve Pinch” it is also possible to render an assailant unconscious with a more obscure technique called the “Vulcan Nose Pick.”

Found by Mariana P. onΒ 9gag with the title “Orange pointy chicken pokes hamster dog,” which is either brilliant or stupid, I honestly don’t know anymore. (Also, “orange pointy chicken” sounds like something you’d order at Panda Express.)

Mariana P – I bet you could order that at Panda Express! πŸ˜€

Brilliant or stupid, it is still funny.

Just witnessing this has rendered me equally unconscious.

I had a family recipe for self-basting Orange Pointy Chicken but my hamster dog ate it.

This site is on fire today, between NOMTOM and the commenters!

And I’m now imagining Leonard Nimoy doing that to Bill Shatner.

Perhaps a moratorium on messy foods when encountering a NTMTOM post??? Just sayin’.

    • Faye April 5, 2016 / 6:52 pm

Wouldn’t that task fall to Dr. McCoy or Nurse Chapel?

  6. Murray April 5, 2016 / 1:44 pm

Love the bird – “My work here is done.”

This time I was prepared. I put my iPad in a ziplock bag before looking at this site. Tea went everywhere else, but my iPad is safe.

        “Cat Snake” is AWESOME!!

      • belphebe April 5, 2016 / 5:12 pm

I prefer “carpet shark” for ferrets, but I do like “cat snake” as well; very descriptive!

I didn’t know capis have an off button in their nose. ?

    • Faye April 5, 2016 / 3:30 pm

ROFLOL. Data had an off button too. But it wasn’t up his nose.

  12. Starfish April 5, 2016 / 3:23 pm

    #TheInternetNamesAnimals lives on!

I love how relaxed capys always look. They seem like they could sleep through anything.

This entire post is absolute perfection.

  14. Faye April 5, 2016 / 3:35 pm

Hey!? Maybe the Pointy Orange Chicken was inserting something INTO the Capybara’s nose. Knocked poor Captain Cappy right out!! Maybe the Pointy Orange Chicken is only disguised as a Vulcan! Maybe it’s actually a Borg plot. He’s really Pointy Orange Chicken 3 of 10.

    • Julie April 5, 2016 / 3:57 pm

Yes. Pointy Orange Chicken is most definitely Borg.

      • Faye April 5, 2016 / 6:49 pm

That Pointy Orange Chicken cyber-beak must have taken eons to perfect.

    • SAA1451 April 5, 2016 / 9:59 pm

      Faye,
      Perfect.

Resistance is Futile. You will be assimilated.

      • Faye April 5, 2016 / 10:55 pm

Cappy wakes up. Tubes emerge from his shaved body. A mechanical voice intones, “You shall henceforth be designated: Locutus of Smorgasborg.” You shall be ingested. Resistance causes heartburn!”

      Yes!

  17. George Michael Sherry April 6, 2016 / 4:04 am

I suppose, theoretically speaking, there might exist some language in which the correct terms for flamingo and capybara would translate to English as orange pointy chicken and hamster dog. Theoretically. Maybe.

    • Faye April 6, 2016 / 9:47 am

The language of NTMTOM’s people springs forth from the deepest recesses of…

      Oh never mind.
