The Cla-a-a-a-a-aw!

Some people have all the luck! All I can get from those claw machines is a stupid plastic whistle, and meanwhile this guy scooped up an entire deer!

You have made our day,ย Brigita P.! We are eternally grateful!

Wow! What an incredibly skilled and caring operator. It was amazing to see him or her operate that machine like that. Hope the baby found mom.

I was holding my breath when the operator went to scoop up the baby out of the mud, he could so easily have broken one of her leg. I had no idea those machine could do such delicate work. Bravo to the operator!!!

My husband has told me about a guy he knew who operated a dragline when he was a boy who was astonishingly precise in what he could do. Clearly this operator is equally skilled and precise — and the way he was helped by the other folks there was just lovely! I’m so glad there are such talented heavy machinery operators in this world! Poor baby was so exhausted in the mud, but it was just beautiful to see her running off at the end. This is one of those “whenever I feel down about people, I need to go watch this” videos for sure!

Poor thing! Cheers, Earth Mover Operator!

Amazing! I literally couldn’t watch the digging part – I had to skip to the end where he set her down and she trotted off. Well done, hoomin!

I love examples of people with good hearts. ?
It makes my heart happy. God bless them all.

I also love the look back from the deer after first standing. “What in the world!?! You are not my mother, you are a snort!”

Oh my gosh! This post already made me happy but seeing “Are You My Mother?” made me EXTRA happy. I used to read that book repeatedly with my mom when I was as wee as that deer. Moms are so special, and I hope that deer found hers. Job well done by the skilled and compassionate operator and his helpers!

Is that “Mike Mulligan & the Steam Shovel”?

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Even though I knew the ending was a happy one. I’m a sucker for a good underdog story.

    YAY!!!! YAY!!!!! YAY!!!!!!

Aw, so nice to hear the guys helping and you could hear their excitement when the baby went running off!

Ahh . . . There ARE good people in the world, after all!

    Beautiful!

How wonderful to see the beautiful baby finally run when she saw the trees – I hope she found Mom. Good thoughts to those guys cheering for her. It warms my heart to know they exist. I hope that baby has a long life and never has to hear the sound of a gun or of an arrow aimed at her or her Mom.

That man was remarkably brave. There is no way on earth that I would’ve attempted it.

Ditto to all the remarks made.

BUT! Re: the claw machine, I always wished I could host a dinner where people had to scoop their food with one. Maybe everybody would have their own I don’t know, haven’t worked out the particulars yet. I’ll let you know.

May I come to your party? Love the creativity!

        But of course.

So beautiful … crying. Like the other commenters, I hope this baby found its Mom. Love to the rescuers. And kudos to whoever filmed this for using landscape mode! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I like the community here and truely am interested in information. For one of the few times in my life, in not trying to be a smartalec.
Why do we even have the ability to film in portrait mode if the ability is not supposed to be used to advantage?
Example; I have a pc, but use my phone for the majority of my work and play. (I consider NTMTOM work for my mental health?) If I am filming a subject matter that is vertically oriented, I can film it in landscape and, viewing it on my phone, the matter I am interested in will be tiny with all kinds of extraneous information on either side. In portrait mode, the subject matter I am interested in seeing, will fill the screen.
Should I always film in landscape just in case, of the few times other people see what I film, the majority of vocal people prefer landscape?
(Hoping not to be virtually tarred and feathered)
