    Me no see ……

It’s a black dog on the rug. On my tablet, I had to turn up the brightness control to maximum before I could see it.

    • Alison April 16, 2016 / 6:16 pm

I couldn’t see that either on my phone – even at full brightness. Had to look on the laptop. 😀

That is some serious Canine Camouflage! I’ll bet someone gets accidentally kicked about 27,000 per day, with that rug and that puppers!

It’s all the glorious Florida sunshine that is making screen glare on my iPad screen, I’m afraid. It’s a price I’m prepared to pay.

Oh, I fully approve — soak up the sun, and doggie will still be there (and not there) when you get back inside.

        Schrodinger’s Doggie?

        • Faye April 16, 2016 / 5:40 pm

Are you saying that sometimes a dog is a particle, sometimes a wave?

Faye and Allein, clearly this is a QUANTUM DOG!! From another Galaxy, far, far away.

            • 6rabbits April 17, 2016 / 11:08 am

Oh, all of these are excellent, Allein! 😆 The wawa cartoon, too. I think I could find room for a “pinhead” chihuahua!

              These are great!

          • allein April 16, 2016 / 6:42 pm

            And just for you, Faye:

            • Faye April 16, 2016 / 8:57 pm

Allein, My brain exploded all over my phone. All the Schrodinger stuff is excellent. But for a true Chihuahua lover the last one is beyond words. Thank you so much I needed that!!

              • allein April 16, 2016 / 9:18 pm

                Sorry. I’ll get a mop. 😛

                • Birdcage April 17, 2016 / 7:46 am

I just want to say that I see the dog now, while inside and away from the sun.

            • Murray Callahan April 18, 2016 / 10:48 am

              😝♥️

I turned up the brightness on my iPhone to the max. So worth it. Big black Labrador totally invisible. That dog needs a yellow collar like a painted curb edge.

  5. allein April 16, 2016 / 2:55 pm

OK, The Fluffington Post is my new favorite thing (after this place, of course).

  6. Elaine C Williamson April 16, 2016 / 3:00 pm

First I only saw the rug, then the dog on the rug. Loved it!

    • Murray Callahan April 18, 2016 / 10:49 am

The dog seemed to emerge from the rug as I looked! But I needed NTMTOM’s prompting to look harder.

  7. Cheryl April 16, 2016 / 3:05 pm

No glare…just an old person with bad eyesight, but I knew there was a critter on the rug…just took me forever to find the nose and eyes to know which end was up.

    • 6rabbits April 17, 2016 / 11:01 am

      Stealth Mode Level: Ninja!
Yep, once I found the eyes then I could see the whole dog! S/he does need a reflective collar or…tail lights!😋

  8. Gigi_the cat lady April 16, 2016 / 3:22 pm

I know black is slimming but this pasted slimming and went right to invisible.

  9. Julie April 16, 2016 / 5:12 pm

I would step on that dog all day.

    • Faye April 16, 2016 / 5:32 pm

Maybe dog strategy is to trip food carrying humans and gobble up splattered food. Yeah that’s the ticket. Why u upset I clean floor??

      • Julie April 16, 2016 / 7:07 pm

Mine just glare at me. Maybe because I don’t drop any food.

        • Faye April 16, 2016 / 9:01 pm

You are obviously in violation of your contract. Those Union Dogs can get ruff.

  10. Laura April 16, 2016 / 7:18 pm

I’m becoming far more grateful that we have a grey rug in our kitchen, considering we too have a black dog!

  11. Kar April 16, 2016 / 7:21 pm

I truly believe that these folks should either change the throw rug or the dog. I know which I would change first.

  12. sugitomo April 17, 2016 / 3:30 am

That’s like my black cat and my black microfiber couch. I’ve had a few close calls, but I’m surprised I’ve never squished him before.

    • SoccerSue April 17, 2016 / 10:33 am

Mine too, on the black office chair in our den. She’said learned (the hard way) to speak up when she sees someone coming.

Hey, at least the shed hair blends right in.
