I Want to Be the Girl With the Most Cake (On My Face)

For me? Is it my birthday? Is it my anniversary?

Did I win the lottery? Am I employee of the month?

Whatever it is, this is the happiest day of my life!

What?

This party was thrown by Murray C., Sharon H., and Mariana P. (via Bored Panda, which assumes as we do that the cake is cat-safe, without sugar or chocolate.)

    Love that song.

I wonder what’s in that catcake? My kitty might do that it if I made her a cake with redi-whip frosting. She screams at me until I squirt some on a plate for her, when I shake the can. SCREAMS.

My cats don’t go crazy for food, but the girl looooves to be rolled with the lint roller. If you use it on yourself (usually to get her fur off you) and she hears it, she will come running. She doesn’t scream, exactly, but it’s one of the few things that gets her to talk at all (she’s very timid and quiet). If you don’t roll her, she’ll cry.

My kitty screams when she smells doughnuts or lemon cookies. Cinnamon buns fresh from the oven make her shake and talk loudly until she gets to lick one. Hates fish, however. Go figure.

Our cat hates to be picked up or restrained in any way and when she was younger and we picked her up her front legs would stretch all the way over your shoulder and she’d scream. We called it “bagpiping the cat”.

Starting at 8pm, we get loud screaming for GRAVY. Then at the appointed hour (9pm), I ask loudly if anybody wants Gravy.

She has to get up in my face, confirming this before I get out and dole out some chunks and gravy in a china saucer. Tried plastic, tried a lid, tried paper plates, and they were all ignored. It HAS to be on the same china that I use.

That is hilarious! Such a discerning kitty!

Cake and icing aside, this kitty has the sweetest face I’ve seen on a kitty in a long time.
And this will be one of those rare occasions when cleaning up is going to be just as much fun (and rewarding) as making the mess!

She needs another cat or a dog to clean up her face. She IS adorable – very enthusiastic.

I agree with duckie, this kitty’s face is just too adorable. Just begging for kisses and cuddles. Which I would be too happy to provide! 😀

Oh my goodness, what a sweet kitty and what a dirty face. Come over here baby and I’ll help you clean it off. This little lady would have a very willing slave for life if she lived in my house. Kinda reminds me of my godson’s 1st birthday party. His mom decided having chocolate cake was a good idea and by the time he got done with it, it was alllll over him. I just remember helping her strip the kid while holding him at arm’s length and he was dunked straight into a bath once the festivities were over.

This chubby sweetie is off-the-charts cute. Up there in Maru territory. Mike, your hover text is perfect!

That must be a shrimp cake with pink salmon icing!

I can’t believe that no one has mentioned the tiny hat! It adds to the already high cuteness factor of this post!

And how does it stay on???.

      • allein May 13, 2016 / 5:28 pm

        I was wondering that myself!

I point at my mouth. You have something right here. And here. And over here. And… I lean in and kiss it all off! Win. Win.

    • Murray May 13, 2016 / 5:18 pm

No spitting on a hanky, right??

      • Faye May 14, 2016 / 10:26 am

No. Direct kissing is essential for cute kitties with icing face.
