Is it “Walkies” or “Hoppies”?

When you putย an adorable bunny on a leash and go to the park, are you taking her for a walk, or are you taking her for a hop? This is important to know, people.

I dunno, Sharon H. — let’s just enjoy the video. (via Pleated Jeans.)

Did the video not embed because of the ‘m’ at the beginning of the url? Posted it from my tablet and it was frustrating me.

Probably. The system may not recognize that pattern as a YouTube link. I edited your comment to enable embedding.

          Thanks for fixing it. ๐Ÿ™‚

When I got the link from the YouTube app share thingy, it gave me a completely different video. So I deleted the post and then opened the video in Chrome instead but I didn’t notice the ‘m’ until it was too late to edit it. Have to remember that for the future. Posting links from my tablet isn’t going well today (had a different problem on another site and finally had to fix it from my laptop; at least there I can edit my comments any time).

I think I’ll go watch this bunny again.

Perfect! Two bunny ears up! And you can dance to it. ??

Indeed, this was one of the “loveliest things I’ve ever seen”

  4. dubravkamcvmd May 15, 2016 / 9:40 am

It was a pleasure to watch the bunny having fun gamboling about and snacking on tasty foraged foods.

In Mitsie’s case, it appears that she is going for “zoomies”

Oh.my.God. This was too cute – definitely squee-worthy. The floppy ears, the nose twitching, the nom-ings, the hop-hop-hoppines. I’s ded. Just what my Sunday morning needed.

Nature is an “All You Can Eat” buffet for this bunny.

I wonder if it’s too late to train my buns to a halter and lead. I’m so worried about Lyme and West Nile I’ve been reluctant to take them outside, but looking at this I think how much they’re missing. I love how lops move their ears forward just a tad to listen – cracks me up. What an exquisite little video.

At 1:04 “As I pause to survey my domain…”
Adorable bunny. And such an accommodating servant, to keep up with bunny so that the leash does not cause jerking.

    • 6rabbits May 15, 2016 / 5:01 pm

      Ahem…

      • Duckie May 16, 2016 / 12:15 am

My bad. I grovel in abject humiliation.

        • 6rabbits May 16, 2016 / 7:08 am

My bun made me post that! He’s very strict. But he has a boopable nose!??

Bunny is having the time of it’s life . Also I love the bloopers at the end when the leash gets tangle in the leg of the human servant.

  11. Faye May 15, 2016 / 11:54 am

Heavenly. Yup. I can only utter the one word. This attack of cuteness worked. Ded.

Beyond adorable. I can’t help but wonder how this was filmed. Was someone running backwards? Dedicated bunny servant(s) โ˜บ๏ธ

    • 6rabbits May 15, 2016 / 4:46 pm

The angle is so low I’m thinking the camera is on a platform that is being pulled by a second slave.

      • allein May 15, 2016 / 6:27 pm

That’s what I was thinking. Either that or someone ended up with a very sore back.

        • 6rabbits May 16, 2016 / 7:13 am

OR…a slave with camera is laying on a skiff being pulled by a third slave! Bunny is so cute I’m sure she has numerous slaves at her disposal.?

  13. Luv Bunny May 15, 2016 / 12:16 pm

It’s a hoppie walkie, for the bunneh. That one was having a hoppy time running, eating and getting muddy. My bunnehs enjoyed going out for walks in our yard and wooded areas.

    • Faye May 15, 2016 / 12:35 pm

      On a lead?!

      • Luv Bunny May 15, 2016 / 2:20 pm

Some bunnehs take to leads, some need time and others just don’t move. I loved seeing people’s reactions when they realized there was a bunneh on a leash. However, I didn’t like it when some would let their dog run over, without much restraint or any careful introduction.

      • Duckie May 16, 2016 / 12:17 am

        How’s your bunny quest?

        • Faye May 16, 2016 / 2:06 pm

I am becalmed in a place with no bunns. ? I will regroup.

          • Murray C. May 16, 2016 / 2:41 pm

Reminds me of a song “The Pub With No Beer” – both situations are very disheartening.

  14. Mikeyfur May 15, 2016 / 1:47 pm

Happiest little dirty face I’ve ever seen. Someone is gonna a need bath when they get home. What a good bunny owner.

  15. AJ May 15, 2016 / 2:35 pm

Just watched again, this time with the music and it was so appropriate!! I swear with all that ear flapping, little Mitsie was going to go airborne. Gotta check out the videographers website – pruskova.com, she’s a professional photographer from the Czech Republic and does amazing work. Take a look at these time lapse videos she did of flowers blooming: http://www.pruskova.com/videotimelapse.htm, just beautiful!!

  16. 6rabbits May 15, 2016 / 4:43 pm

This just makes me feel tons of happy! LOVE the ear floppage! And of course she’s going to climb to the highest point to survey her world. Weird how buns love to be up high. I bet there were many bunny rolls after that adventure!
Wish I had a safe area like that to run Theo. Haven’t trained him to a leash cos there’s no truly safe place to run nearby.

  17. Laura May 15, 2016 / 5:43 pm

On her website, the bunny’s slave says:

“My bunny Mitsie running in the gardens. She was 6 months old. She is now enjoying free running without the leash in a smaller garden with good fence.”

Lucky bunny to have such a devoted slave! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love everything about this. I’d never thought of this, but when one walks a herbivore, they get to eat whatever they find that they like (as distinguished from the usual carnivore that only sniffs and pees). Sometimes you just gotta stop and eat the flowers. I love that someone went to the trouble to video this so well (knowing it was a professional explains the skill — probably had a camera handle so they didn’t have to bend over to get the low angle). I love that someone loves her bunny enough to walk it, and I love that they were able to find a safe place to do it. And I love the song, and I don’t like much new music. Thanks, NTMTOM.
