The classic children’s game “Operation” went through many design changes on its way to market, including a long list of rejected “body parts”: swimming pool-shaped kidney, wounded knee, etc. Among the rejects was the “Kitty Bone,” which was discarded after play-testers noticed that kitties are boneless and hard to pick up with tweezers.

I wonder if my toast tongs are big enough to grab this one…
Aw, heck… *grabs kitty and runs while board buzzes*
Wounded knee? As in “Bury my heart at”? Mike, you’re not only hilarious, you’re quite edifying with all the literary references! Not to mention classic board games, of course. 🙂
this is beyond cute.. and NTMTOM’s spin on it is just amazing
I think all the auto companies should offer a “Kitten in the Cupholder” option! I know I’d pay extra, wouldn’t you????
Silly kitty, that’s not for you – that’s the Pup Holder!
Hehe, thanks, that was exactly the pic I had in mind!
😀
Looks like the wishbone to me! (Get it? Get it?)
Does that file folder say “Geek Squad Maintenance Record”?
Looks like that to me, too.
A “swimming pool-shaped kidney”?, eh?
Only Mike…
Very punny Mr. NOMTOM.
I want that upgrade on my next car! Always something new to entice the customers.
Apparently after all our recent discussion about the no touchy fishy, it’s now one of the suggested previous entries for me to go read again. So your random program assigner pays attention to our discussions, eh, NTMTOM?
I don’t think so, but I can’t say for sure. I’m seeing the “toucha fishy” post in my list of suggestions, and I wasn’t part of that discussion. The simpler answer may be that the two posts were matched up because they both feature cats.
Yes, I noticed that today’s wombat post brought up 3 wombat suggestions.
