Since I routinely drive past prairie dog hideouts, I need to pack some stakes.

Don’t forget to don garlic, too.

My first impression was that I should avert my eyes.

    The truth is out there!

    • murkle46 May 23, 2016 / 12:39 pm

The truth being,if this were actually what prarie dogs did,it would be the least worst thing they do.

    • murkle46 May 23, 2016 / 2:26 pm

(prairie dogs actually do eat each other, under certain circumstances)(yikes)

It’s a wonderful, dramatic picture. It looks like a scene from an opera. No, No, she cries and faints. He clings to her.

    • Duckie May 23, 2016 / 6:05 pm

      Or the other way around…

Oh yay, my first submishy to be accepted! And there’s not even a fishy to no touchy!

Seriously, the photos on ZooBorns were so INSANELY adorable I knew there was simply TONS of material for NTMTOM. I couldn’t even imagine which one he’d use or what he’d do with it. But it’s safe to say my wildest imaginings have been exceeded. 🙂

    • Duckie May 23, 2016 / 7:16 pm

Thanks, Laura! And ‘no touchy’ is apparently not an option with these two.

    • Smartypants May 23, 2016 / 8:16 pm

      Congratulations Laura!

Yes, I love the first pic from Zooborns where they’ve got their little hands raised – it’s like one is showing the other how to tell a fish story (“I swear, it was THIS BIG!”)

      • allein May 23, 2016 / 8:37 pm

So he got to touchy the fishy? Or says he did, anyway. 😉

Third pic: Please, sir, I want some more?

        Sixth pic: I surrender!!

    • Murray May 24, 2016 / 4:54 am

I know how you feel about your first, Laura, it’s extremely gratifying. Congratulations!

First was “Awwwww” which turned into “What the heck!?” Perfect storyline, NTMTOM! Prarie Dogs are incapable of being uncute. (No vampire emoji, but I’ve got ? which is beyond bizarre!)

I really do want to know the story behind this. If only the prairie dog were as gossipy as the meerkats.
