House-leeck-eeng!

Morning, folks. We’re just here to clean your windows. Sorry, we forgot our squeegee, but anyway we should have this cleaned up in a jiffy. You kids enjoying the safari so far?

Oh nothing, it’s just a trio of chase-you-down-and-rip-out-your-heart lionesses licking rainwater off a tent with people in it. No bigs, right,ย Ginette C.?

        Rasp rasp rasp…

        Tent Companion: Shhh don’t move…
Me: I have to evacuate… my bowels, right now.

Nice kitties, good kitties, drink all the water you want. Pay no attention to the human shape edibles inside.

I think I would be fainting half from delight and half from heart-stopping fear!

    • Duckie May 25, 2016 / 10:56 am

Same here. My heart rate went up just from watching!

  7. Faye May 25, 2016 / 9:48 am

You know those lions weren’t Scottish or they’d have been drinking the whisky instead.

  9. Smartypants May 25, 2016 / 10:40 am

Ginette, I’m so glad you sent this in! I saw it on the news last night and said “Oh, I’ve got to send it in…” and promptly forgot.

    • Gigi_the cat lady May 25, 2016 / 11:11 am

You’re welcome Smartypants, I’m that way too, if I don’t do it right away I forget.

I’ll never again complain about my house feline licking anything in the house, me included. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

My longhaired idiot, Boris, ambles into the bathroom as soon as he hears me get out of the shower so he can lick the water off my feet and legs. I was thinking exactly this as I watched that video.

      • Duckie May 25, 2016 / 3:46 pm

        “Long haired idiot”? Rofl.
        Got pics?

      • Faye May 25, 2016 / 6:24 pm

My chihuahuas used to do that. ๐Ÿ˜€

  11. patris May 25, 2016 / 1:45 pm

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tentsie Pop?

    • allein May 25, 2016 / 1:47 pm

omg, I so needed that laugh. Thank you.

    • sugitomo May 25, 2016 / 10:48 pm

LOL, I was thinking along the same lines! *applause*

I heard a crazy lion voice in my head saying “Dang, how do you get the wrappers off these things?”

      Bravo!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

How dry must it be for lions to be licking water off a tent? But Patris’ cat presumably has a water bowl, so maybe it’s just something cats do. As if their tongues don’t get enough exercise licking themselves.

  13. 6rabbits May 26, 2016 / 7:33 am

Does anyone else think these are young lionesses? The one on the right esp. looks to be a adolescent? NOT that this would make the experience any less spine-chilling.
