I only wish this was longer – and that you could see what the buns were crashing in to! Love me those lionheads.

I went back three times to watch the one jump out from behind the curtains.

My fav part! Such cute bunnies!

I think I’ve seen these 2 adorable buns before. I love watching them run and hop. Too bad there isn’t more blanket for them, to really get going. It’s hard on slick flooring.

You may have seen them in this post from a while back, in which they play in and around a barrel-shaped hutch. And if you look sharp at today’s video, you can see that same barrel in the background.

I moved house recently and now they have a wooden floor and 2 carpets 😀 They love to run through the house! (They are cage-free bunnies) 🙂

It’s me again. I just noticed how neat and clean the area looks. How do you stay so neat with two buns? I just got done bunneh sitting our daughter’s two buns, along with my own bunneh. I picked up through out the days and still spent a fair amount if time cleaning up after the two went home.

They are both neutered and litter box trained 🙂

My bunneh and our daughter’s bunnehs are also fixed and litter box trained. Had to alternate their running around times due to not being bonded and used portable fencing to keep them seperate. But the 2 males, felt they had to somewhat mark their areas. The mess is more from hay, straw mats and chewed toys, left everywhere, but I don’t mind, they’re loveable bunnehs.

Also, when they do those”binkies”, they’re spraying, at least some of the time. I have plexiglass against the pen which is there just to protect the skirting boards in their room and I have to clean it of “bunny graffiti” every so often. I first discovered this when I used a piece of black mat board, before I got the plexi. Very artistic.?

            Too funny.

You’re kidding. ? The only time I’ve had spraying is with un-neutered males. Usually my bunnies’ peeing problems have come from territorial issues, or ill health. I don’t think I’d like acrobatics as much if it came with spraying.? Guess I’ve been lucky!??

The only way I ever came to know about it was by having those barriers in place. Then you can actually see it. I think it must be pretty atomized and I don’t know that they do it all the time. If you think about it, tho’, that behavior has to have some sort of evolutionary purpose and how better to extend your influence and catch the girls than by jumping up high and twisting your butt around as you perfume the air with your essence??

My bun Alexi (too young to be neutered) once did a flip-n-spray directly in my face while I was laying on the floor reading a magazine! Apparently I wasn’t paying him enough attention! He seemed quite confused that I wasn’t happy about it! Made the neuter appt. the next day! (He was approx. 5 months. You can neuter at 4-6 mo., but I like to wait until as close to 6m as I can.)
My second bun was an ornery, unspayed Polish rabbit. Once when she was trying to avoid bedtime (in her cage) she ran at me, turned, and flipped up her legs, sprayed me, and took off running! She was so pleased with herself she was binkying all over the place! Only time I EVER had a female bunny spray me!?

Wow, I’ve never experienced an actual spraying, only the aftermath. A baptism of sorts?

                  • 6rabbits May 30, 2016 / 10:09 pm

Alexi actally came back and tried to lick and cuddle me–I figured he was apologizing!
At age 5 my nephew actually had a young male bunny spray him in the face! He handled it pretty well. ? The owner’s comment was “Well, urine’s sterile.” (The bunny was being groomed on a table and my nephew was behind the bunny at the “perfect” level.)

                That’s attractive.

                • Murray C. May 31, 2016 / 9:56 am

Hey, it’s like diapering a boy.?

                    Ha.

Evidently cats aren’t the only ones that get the zoomies. 😀

I love the couple of takes around :30 where instead of sproinging, he just runs offstage. And the preparatory nose-twitching each time!

    • Murray C. May 29, 2016 / 6:10 pm

Love “preparatory nose-twitching” – perhaps a ritualistic sort of device – like “Bewitched”.
