Doesn’t everyone know it can be difficult to wok a cat?

    • beemoused June 9, 2016 / 1:53 pm

That was worthy of 260Oakley!!! **Loud applause***

    • allein June 9, 2016 / 1:58 pm

A google image search for “wok a cat” seems to indicate that wokking a cat is actually quite easy.

It also indicates that there is a flavor of cat food called On the Cat Wok ๐Ÿ˜€ :

I’ve been saying that for years. Nobody believes me.

          • allein June 9, 2016 / 3:12 pm

            I believe you.

        • Murray C. June 9, 2016 / 6:16 pm

Okay, is this a reference to something or am I to take it at face value?????

          • allein June 9, 2016 / 7:25 pm

As far as I know, it’s just an I Can Has Cheezburger thing. There’s also this one,

but I like the dramatic dedness of the other kitty above (plus he looks like my Stripes when he was little). I don’t know which one came first.

Fold the ears gently into the mixture – don’t want to deflate the mood.

    • Haha June 9, 2016 / 2:19 pm

Who else heard this lady’s voice for Murray C’s comment?

      • Murray C. June 9, 2016 / 6:02 pm

        FABulous. Love that lady.

  5. alison June 9, 2016 / 11:31 am

  6. hilz June 9, 2016 / 11:46 am

    3 downvotes?! People are strange.

    • Not That Mike The Other Mike June 9, 2016 / 12:12 pm

That’s OK. If people aren’t happy with something, I want to know about it. I don’t just want positive feedback.

    • Murray C. June 9, 2016 / 6:05 pm

For some it may be difficult to separate this from the issue in some countries where they eat cats and dogs and all the petitions that arrive in inboxes praying they won’t.

  7. Tagatha June 9, 2016 / 12:24 pm

Well. That puts a new twist on “they’re so cute I’m going to eat them up!” Pass the salt, please.

    • Murray C. June 9, 2016 / 12:43 pm

      Please, the fish sauce!?

      • allein June 9, 2016 / 2:02 pm

No touchy da fishy (sauce)! ๐Ÿ˜›

        • hilz June 9, 2016 / 3:14 pm

          My favorite!

  8. Faye June 9, 2016 / 12:43 pm

That looks like dessert to me. Too sweet for a main course. Kitten Brรปlรฉe a la Marmi. Yumm!

    • allein June 9, 2016 / 2:04 pm

      Creamsicle kitty!

    • Murray C. June 9, 2016 / 6:18 pm

      ?

  9. Elaine C Williamson June 9, 2016 / 1:47 pm

Love the look of those Scottish Folds. Maybe the down votes did not know that is how they look and thought the kitten was upset?

    • beemoused June 9, 2016 / 1:55 pm

I certainly hope so. I cannot think of any other rational reason to downvote such adorableness.

  10. 6rabbits June 9, 2016 / 3:10 pm

What an adorable face! I’ll get you some noms, little one??

  11. Julie June 9, 2016 / 3:10 pm

I think if you were really going to eat a cat, you wouldn’t post a cute pic of it with a filter on the internet.

I tell my dogs that I want to eat them all the time. Of course, they are chihuahua so they hear that all the time.

  12. Faye June 9, 2016 / 4:46 pm

I always say dogs are delicious when I see one. I can’t wait to rub scritch scratch or eat it all up with hugs and kisses.

    • Murray C. June 9, 2016 / 6:08 pm

I always wondered why people (myself and my mother included!) would look at a baby or other very young animal and say, “Oooo, I want to eat you up” or “I could eat you with a spoon”. Strange reaction – but deelish is deelish!?

Speaking of popping cuteness into our mouths …. I used to work with a colleague who had been a French chef in a former life. And he knew I loved my parrot so every morning, to get under my skin, he’d email me a different recipe featuring parrot as an ingredient. Braised Parrot with Sugar Snap Peas. Ginger Soy Parrot Breast on Rice. Buffalo-Style Parrot Wings with Bleu Cheese Dip and Crudite. Sauteed Supreme of Parrot with Avocado Salsa and Quinoa. (It was intended as, and taken as, a joke – he was truthfully an animal lover himself.) Anyway, I took to emailing him back photos of my parrot standing in various saute pans, surrounded by veggies or cooking utensils, as if I was trying his recipes each evening after work. It shut him up when he realized it wasn’t bothering me.

      Epic!

    • Murray June 10, 2016 / 3:55 pm

? I get lots of comments about rabbit stew.

  14. Yadre June 10, 2016 / 11:30 am

I would really stuff /devour this kitten…..believe it or not, in Hungarian (not to be mixed with Kardashian or Targaryan ๐Ÿ™‚ they say they would stuff something that is adorable or cute. Literally, a cute baby, cat or dog is “meant to be stuffed”. Germans also use the verb stuff to express their love :).

Aww, languages are special creatures. ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. Murray June 10, 2016 / 3:57 pm

So if I lean back in my chair having eaten a surfeit of Wiener schnitzel and say “I’m stuffed” I’m expressing self love????

    • Faye June 10, 2016 / 4:23 pm

      Yes. Yes you are!

      • Murray C. June 10, 2016 / 9:55 pm

        ?Oh, good.
