Somehow the beak doesn’t look like it’s part of the bird…which kinda enhances the vicious dino-predator vibe…

    But he’s a cute vicious dino-predator!

He looks so helpless! He looks too sweet to chase anyone. *smooch* on the leetle head?

My poor brain is confused. Can someone explain the hover text? Why do you need a shark to catch a cuttle fish?

I’m as confused as you are 6rabbits.

If it has bones the size of an RV, you need some awfully big bait..?

      • BB/VA June 20, 2016 / 6:30 pm

        You’re gonna need a bigger boat…

        • allein June 20, 2016 / 7:13 pm

          Is this one big enough?

I think they are famous enemies, like cats and dogs, or coyotes and roadrunners…

My computer died this morning. Luckily after I was finished with the important Monday-morning-send-to-the-bigwigs things. Help desk came and took it away, then was able to reboot it so brought it back after a little bit; they were gonna run some diagnostics after I left.

Computers – can’t live with ’em, can’t live without ’em.

Probably because of their powerful monkeyfeet, parrots are actually able to motor, whether climbing up the curtains or on the straightaways across the carpets. A friend of mine had a budgie who decided to opt out of flight for the most part, but who could scamper across the floors like a little blue bullet.

    • kodalai June 20, 2016 / 10:46 am

But have they figured out door-handles? 😀

    • birdcage June 20, 2016 / 12:19 pm

My parrot can certainly motor on the floor – until his talons get caught in the carpet fibres, that is. Then he gets mad. VERY mad. Oh, and you never want to be the face sticking out of the neck hole of a shirt when your parrot gets its claws tangled in a button hole or on a stray thread.

My little boy looked just like that dinosaur when I acquired him. He had to stay with the breeder, in a warm incubator, until all of his feathers came in. They are such helpless wee babes at that stage! They aren’t perching yet, and can’t feed themselves, so you have to learn to spoon feed them. Those were special times. “Special” in the sense that I was usually covered in brownish birdie pablum every time the little bub shook his head during a feeding.

I wonder if dinosaurs roared, as imagined in the movies, or did they squawk like parrots? Somehow, a TRex going SQUAWWWWWKKKK! as he chases down his lunch seems a little absurd.

How can something so… NAKED, be cute? (Richard Gere in American Gigolo was NOT cute. Sinfully handsome? Yes. Swoon-worthy? Definitely. Distracting as all heck? Of course. But not cute.)

Bebbeh T-Rex great great great great (to the nth degree) descendant is absolutely cute as a button. But I agree that s/he needs a sweater, like those stylish, redunkulous “jumpers” worn by his/her rescued British cousins…
