I Caught a Giant Mouse!

Wow, this thing’s huge! Guys, help me drag it back home! Um, guys?

What’s actually happening here: A family of capybara live near a university campus in Mato Grosso, Brazil, where a student captured this cat administering a belly rub. Thanks to sender-inners Murray C. and Andrew Y. More at The Dodo. Problem with video? View on Facebook.

That looks exactly like what happens every morning in my house, I try to sleep and my cat Mia does a jig on me. They even sadly almost have the proportions of cat to hamster dog close to me and my cat ?

Hamster dogs are truly amazing creatures, as are, of course, cats. I would pay money to know what is going through their minds.

Now I have seen everything!? My goodness, that capybara is happy! How did the cat know to DO that? ?

Why are there no hamster dogs running around my neighborhood? We have lots of lovely ponds and pools for them to swim in, tons of different food for them to eat, and I bet the sandhill cranes or ibises would give them a “walking massage” if they wanted one! We need hamster dogs!

(Okay, okay, I realize they’d be yet more invasive animals to cause problems, like the nutria in Louisiana….but honestly, they’re so cute, I’m still tempted to make an exception in their case!)

That was incredible. Like Laura, I want hamster dogs in my neighborhood.

Wouldn’t you know it that a chillin’ hamster dog would be enjoying a massage in the middle of campus.

This is amazing! Does anyone else remember the old Sylvester the cat cartoons where he would mistake a baby kangaroo for a giant mouse and try to catch it to impress his son?(To no avail, of course!)

That’s exactly what I thought of when I saw this. It’s like real life Looney Tunes.

That Hamster Dog is the definition of rotund, bless its heart.

The roundness, the belly reveal, the teeth, and the cat… But it’s the webbed feet that are killing me.

Hit and run Hamster Dog Massage. That cat needs a business card!

Anybody else reminded of Beaky the Buzzard crawling home with a dinosaur in his talons?

You can literally hear the ovaries ovulating on the audio.

Seems to me that all animals love hamster dogs… I feel like I’ve seen videos of other varieties of creatures also playing/snuggling with them.
