Um…my first impression was “giant spider.”

Me too! I think it’s the fuzzy aspect of it made my brain go “Tarantula?!?” But much cuter when I realized it’s lemurs. 🙂

Me three! My Mind immediately went “Ack! Tarantula!” Then I counted the tails, so I ? the hovertext!

        • allein July 5, 2016 / 7:40 pm

I counted the tails about 3 times before I actually counted 9. I kept seeing 8.

This little tuxedo is doing a good impression of Ms Can Opener.

Mine don’t get on top of doors. The boy is the only one who ever gets on anything, really, and it’s just the entertainment center in my parents’ living room, or sometimes the little steps that run up the side of the fireplace. The girls is content to go no higher than the bed, and occasionally the bay window in the kitchen.

??????? Wow, a nonopus? And a “No! No! Puss!”

    • Ms Can Opener July 5, 2016 / 11:45 am

Murray: Do you suppose Hank is a polyoctopus?

      • Murray C. July 5, 2016 / 1:19 pm

Perhaps a Polypus, but a Polyoctopus would have to have multiples of 8 legs – probably look like a sea anemone!

    • Phred's Mom July 5, 2016 / 12:04 pm

Murray, you beat me to it. I was trying on “nonopus”, but was feeling
insecure about the word, waited too long. Clever creature, to grow
      a. ninth appendage to further flummox the pursuers.

      • Murray C. July 5, 2016 / 1:14 pm

Absolutely! and brilliant minds think alike, timing be damned!?

    • Duckie July 5, 2016 / 2:01 pm

Wasn’t it decided that Hank is a septopus? Or am I having a clueless moment?

      • Murray C. July 5, 2016 / 2:19 pm

He is but this lemurpus has nine arms – and they’re in ringlets!

      • Not That Mike The Other Mike July 5, 2016 / 3:00 pm

I saw the movie over the weekend, and the term “septopus” is actually used in the script.

This freaked me out. I actually snorted my tea IN my nose, not out. Then, as I coughed my brains out (second time today), I realized it was lemurs. NTMTOM, if you’re keeping score, you get ten points.

    • Gigi_the cat lady July 5, 2016 / 1:51 pm

It freaked me out too, it looks like a giant tarantula! I’ll add another 10 points NTMTOM.

? I also, first thought this was a photo of a big, hairy spider and there was No Way, No How, NTMTOM was going to get me to look further. Just goes to show you how clever & witty he is at fooling us. Good job, joke’s on me. ?
