At the old ranch we have said so many times : so cute I want to pop him into my mouth! Well this cutie does it all by himself. ?

This is what I love about the Internet – individual weirdness becomes normalized.

    i hope no one sneezes.
    Dangerous either way.

I wonder how this started? How would you find out your dog would do this? Or why did she make the noise in the first place? And what about the first time made either one of them want to do it a second time?

    So. Many. Questions.

Dog was a ENT Doc in a previous life!?

I have similar questions about people who must have spent hours in front of a mirror learning how to do weird and wonderful things, like wiggling their ears of moving their eyebrows in elaborate ways – or “gurning” champions, people who make strange faces by, e.g. swallowing their noses. How do they discover this ability!?? WHY do they continue to perfect it???

        Yes!

Maybe it’s like reliving the surprise the first time milk shoots out of your nose when you were a kid.

An accident of anatomy and physiology.

Faye, I relive that feeling almost every time I visit this site!
“Milk. It’s not just for breakfast.”

I’d think we’d all have learned not to eat or drink while reading by now.

              And yet we still do.

Pretty sure it was an accidental discovery, just like Post It notes and Viagra.

I accidentally discovered that my dog wants to attack my tongue. I stuck my tongue out at him once and he went bonkers. He screamed and lunged for it. He does this every time I stick my tongue out at him. He either thinks it’s a small rodent or he thinks it’s attacking me.

The doxie might be having a similar reaction.
