Ack- What do you suppose lil’ Chip has in his backpack? Baby carrots? Alfalfa sandwich? Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies? Bugs Bunny Vitamins?

    Let’s get hopping.

What might such a tiny bunn carry in a tiny backpack?

      Teeny tiny carrots?

Isn’t it amazing how the zippers match his/her fur???

I would love to pack a lunch for this bun! One mini peanut butter Ritz sandwich, some carrot curls, broccoli florets…
Oh, and a tiny napkin to make sure his tiny whiskers are clean after.

I dunno, when I feed my buns they get a pile of greens as big as they are! Don’t want to starve the little thing, now, do we???

I think if there was something in the backpack, this leetle bunneh might tip backwards. The cuteness alone shall earn him/her a merit badge or two.

I hope I saved Chip’s cousin last night. Just as I was collecting my cat from the (fenced in) back yard, he snatched up a baby bun. While the bunny cried, Spot ran up to me to show me what he’d captured.

I pried Spot’s mouth open and made him drop his prize. Firmly tucked under my arm, we went inside, me with hopes that the baby was not badly hurt, Spot with hopes that he would wriggle free and go back after his trophy.

Okay. We need to know more about this baby bun.

I’ve been afraid to go out in the yard and search today – not to mention that it was 100 degrees in the shade. I’ll gird (girdle) my loins and go searching tomorrow AM with fervent hopes there is no little body to be found. Needless to say, Spot wasn’t allowed outside today. Gee, how many times has he heard “Grounded for life!”

Is spot an orange tabby by any chance?

Okay, so I’m clunk, collapsed over teh cute here, but this makes me ponder hopefully if, sort of like phasers set on stun, this kind of cute that neutralizes human beings might be used for the greater good? along the lines of Monty Python’s “Killer Joke,” that kind of thing. It would be nice, and it would of course be very very cute.

There’s an idea! A Cute Phaser that projects disapproving buns!

Everytime I see this photo I marvel that someone could get a back pack on a rabbit! It must be because he is so little. Very few of my buns would have put up with that kind of nonsense.?

This is one of those situations where I truly believe that this little guy is sitting on his STIEFF label.

    • Murray C. July 17, 2016 / 10:24 pm

Kar, I swear, I tell people all the time when they speak lightly of getting a rabbit that most people thing they have a “Gund” tag on their ear – they don’t seem to take them seriously as living, breathing, sentient animals because they’re so doggone cute.

    • Ms Can Opener July 18, 2016 / 2:25 am

Great call, Kar. Aren’t the tags always in the right ear as one is facing the animal? Since we can’t see that ear in this pic, I’m sure you’re right and the tag is there.

-glances around to make sure no one’s watching-

-grabs bunnehcule of cuteness stuffs into her larger backpack and walks away nonchalantly-

-Adds research preferred bunny snorgling techniques and “how to convince a rabbit and a dog that thinks it’s a rabbit to get along” to the to do list-

    • Smartypants July 18, 2016 / 8:01 am

      “Bunnehcule” – I like it!
