Wow, This Is a Dry Heat

Even a dip in the pool can’t cool me down. It’s like I don’t even feel the water!

hmm .. err .. You know pupper .. Something seems to be missing doesn’t it ?

You know .. that wet stuff .. I think they call it Dihydrogen Oxide.

Dihydrogen Monoxide??!! That stuff’ll kill you!

(I’ve heard it both ways but I think “monoxide” sounds more sinister since most people know the dangers of carbon monoxide.)

Have you ever seen the episode of Penn & Teller’s Bulls**t where they go around getting people to sign a petition?

That’s quite the dog-paddle, Mr. Frenchie.

  5. Shan July 20, 2016 / 11:23 am

I don’t like to be a nuffer, but somebody needs to give that thirsty, hot, pup some water. That was sad to watch.

I think he’s giving b-r-o-a-d hints that the hoomin is too dense to read.
If puppers could use a smartphone, maybe hoomin would get it.

Here’s an alternate theory: The pup is rubbing all over the textured surface of the kiddie pool because it feels good. And perhaps the pool got filled shortly after the video was taken.

      • Faye July 20, 2016 / 12:32 pm

That was my first thought. He’s scratching his belly!

      • Phred's Mom July 20, 2016 / 1:17 pm

I’ll go with the alternate theory, then.

        • Shan July 20, 2016 / 1:22 pm

          Me too Phred’s Mom.

  6. Patty July 20, 2016 / 11:59 am

Aw, give that poor dog some water. I am sure his hoomin did just that after they took video of his cute way of hinting he’d like to swim.

Sometimes I wonder at the fact that 30 seconds of a dog just rubbing himself against something can make me happy.

    • Gigi_the cat lady July 20, 2016 / 12:22 pm

You know, the way you said that almost sound dirty ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Emmberrann July 20, 2016 / 12:28 pm

Rubbing himself against the floor of the pool obvy makes Mr. French feel Gooood! Or, in Outerageuse Frawnche, eet makes ‘eem feel ze trรจs bien!

    • Faye July 20, 2016 / 12:36 pm

      I’m happy for you! Lol.

Seriously, I love to see bears getting a good tree scratch going. And pigs getting fence scratches. Very satisfying.

You are all so very empathetic. Can you say that with me, Boys and Girls? And it’s a lovely quality.
And who knows, maybe the doggie doesn’t even LIKE water (?) and just likes to scramble around. But I vote on giving him some water. Why, oh WHY can’t we see the aftermath. (I have a theory about why people want so much to believe in the afterlife – it’s so we’ll discover how it all turns out)

    • Phred's Mom July 20, 2016 / 5:40 pm

Precisely, Murray. And the suspense is killing us.

He’s practicing his Water Ballet routine for the Olympics…but he’s trying to be green and conserve water ๐Ÿ˜€

I think doggeh despairs of his human getting the hint! “Human, I can’t talk or write so you’re gonna have to improve your deductive skills!”??
