It’s One of Those Compact Models!

Cool! I’ve heard about these, but I’ve never seen one. So how much horsepower do you have? How many miles do you get to the hay bale?

He couldn’t answer them, Murray C. — he was a little horse. (Via Reshareworthy)

I have never been jealous of a pony’s mane before…
    What a little sweetheart!

You can almost hear the big horses saying “He’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!”

Allein, once again you have contributed to the “scream-out-loud” level of a post. Good on ya.

This is a repeating refrain in our home, “It’s so…….” Insert appropriate adjective with proper vocal delivery.

I want to rub his belly.

Does anyone know what the music is?

It is nice music, isn’t it. Can’t help you out with your inquiry, however.

      And NTM – GRO-O-OAN!?

I love the horses and the ponies. I hate, hate, HATE, with a passion that goes beyond words, that the horses are is a space with BARBED WIRE at the top of the fence. I’ve had the misfortune to see what barbed wire can do to a horse’s hide. It’s not pretty. The horse in question (not one of mine and not at my place) survived but just barely. The placing of the barbed wire here puts it up close to the major blood vessels of the head and neck. Talk about a disaster waiting to happen.

      I wondered about that.

This is how I felt when I went to Norway: like a hobbit visiting the Big Folk in Bree.

Love little Pippin so much. Like Duckie, I’m jealous of his fuzzy mane.

This reminds me of the amazon commercial where the girl gets a pony but the horses won’t play with him so she installs a horse door for the pony to get into the house. Except these horses are nicer.

What’s with Amazon and sad animal commercials? They have the sad pony who the other horses won’t play with and the doggie who’s sad the baby is scared of him until dad gets him a lion mane so he looks like her stuffed toy.

      • Julia July 21, 2016 / 1:16 pm

That’s a good point. I forgot about that one. I don’t know, but I’m choosing to think of this as Sad Pony’s happy ending.

Because humans have a pavlovian reflex to buy crap in an effort to make them feel better.

Like the cat with a toy/condo who sleeps in the delivery box?

This is like when someone in your neighborhood gets a Prius.

I am always amazed at the elegance, power and sheer beauty of horses. God really did a magnificent job with equines…

    And that pony is DARLING!

I love how they all would just stop and stare, almost like in disbelief at the mini-horsey.
