The facebook header (“Swamp thing! You make my heart sing!”) made me gaffaw really loudly at the office. And precious little is capable of making me laugh today so I’m very grateful for the moment. Gawds I lurves dogs soooooo much. Someday I will have one and then Citizens of Cutetropolis Beware!!!!! If you tire of my parrot stories, I will bore everyone to death with puppeh tails ….. urg, I mean Tales.

I love your parrot stories! I’m sure your dog tales will be equally wonderful.

  5. Flowerfanatic August 5, 2016 / 12:42 pm

I cracked up with the ‘Neo-Synephrine era’ suggestion!!

    • Emmberrann August 5, 2016 / 5:14 pm

I don’t think even the Ocean can handle that much mud

Poor ol’ pooch! What’s the backstory on this? It’s good thing it wasn’t the LeBrea(sp?) Tar Pits. Gut bustlingly funny, tho’ I don’t think the dog thinks so.

This is one of the best things I’ve seen today. He is just surveying his options. Rub against my human, or the other dog.
I could have a statue of this morsel.

        ?

      • Emmberrann August 5, 2016 / 5:16 pm

        ?

      • Haha August 5, 2016 / 5:41 pm

That would be awesome! I would carefully crack off the incasement, freeing said pupster for more rompings. I would collect the statue bits and have them bronzed. Reassemble the puzzle pieces and have something glorious to laugh at for the rest of my days!

HaHa, you are well-named – you will always have the last laugh!?

        • Smartypants August 5, 2016 / 9:14 pm

You could cast muddy-bulldog replicas and sell them as garden art… 😀

          • Murray C. August 5, 2016 / 9:39 pm

Maybe make them out of poo and they could gradually fertilize the garden! Someone was selling something like that a few years back!

I was prepared to say, “Oh poo. My pictures didn’t work.” If my pictures pooped out.

That mud looks really green (algae, maybe?) – just imagine the smell! Phew!

  10. Faye August 5, 2016 / 6:29 pm

The SHAKE is gonna be a disaster!! Human with camera better back up, fast.

The ‘hover’ man, I tell ya, the ‘hover’ always seems to get me… seals the deal for me everytime Mike. Thanks, man.

This guy looks as muddy our yellow lab Isaac wished he could get. He could find mud when you could swear there wasn’t a speck of it in the whole neighborhood. One time he tracked mud all over the light-colored carpet we had at the time, and I sent it to a dog-loving friend, who ended up using it as her wallpaper for ages. And I have a picture somewhere of him with a mud line running horizontally down the exact middle of his body. He was another natural Mud Monster!
