If that was my avian vet, poor Merlin would have many more appointments on his annual wellness schedule.

And that chipmunk??? American Ninja Warrior here he comes!

Chipmunks doing parkour? I’d watch that!

Morning Smartypants! it was me having the nightmares last night… *sigh*

      • debg August 10, 2016 / 11:30 am

Oh, you two–so sorry! I keep lavender oil in a diffuser near my bed, which is supposed to help with nightmares (but doesn’t always).

Oh dear, FKA, sorry to hear that – hope your day has improved since then!

I need a job where I can keep puppies in my pockets…

I need a job where I can keep puppies in THAT DOC’s pockets. It would be inefficient to schedule vet visits in California while I live in Colorado, wouldn’t it?

I want all the koalas. And now I have a reason to visit Hawaii–that story is amazing and so sweet.

Too much cuteness! Pom in vet pocket. Slo-mo chipmunk. Sun-soaking felines with gender assigned collar colours. Baby koala making noises. Fellow cuties, make a note: Duckie’s head asploded (not ass plodded, you stupid autocorrect) and she is officially ded.

    • Haha August 10, 2016 / 12:45 pm

You sure you didn’t need to get your plodding a$$ moving this morning? Maybe autocorrect was just trying to motivate you? (Winky smile)

‘ass plodded’ – I like it!

Ok, two road trips scheduled, who wants to join me! I’m just south of that vet so I think my doggy needs a second opinion on his separation anxiety issues. And I was all set to schedule a visit to the cat sanctuary when I go in Nov but the boat doesn’t stop in Lanai, sniff sniff. Oooh, but it is off the coast of Maui where the boat overnights so let’s think how I can plan this quick sidetrip while hubby goes snorkling. Gives me additional incentive on persuading hubby that a move to Hawaii is in our future.

I’m with you, AJ – I’ll just get a lot of Dramamine ready. The Doc in unbelievably handsome and kind – two of my favorite things (Julie Andrews don’t fail me now), love the chippie, had no idea they could jump so high, love the cat sanctuary – and I am over the moon with the music on that video!!!!! FABulous and I wish I knew who the band was because I would buy their CD in a trice.

“Vana Vana” by Andy Iona and His Islanders. It’s on youtube, and you can find his songs on Hawaiian compilations of the early 1900s. He recorded an album with Louis Armstrong, too!

I knew it had to be from around that time – thanks so much, Cocoa Nut. Sounds like you have an eclectic musical sense???? Besides Love of the Cute!
