What a cutie! Looks like my long gone Charlie boy. And he was also a sink cat. (Plus a dryer cat, a cabinet cat, a drawer cat etc. Sometimes you never knew where you’d find him)

Judging by what’s just beyond his left shoulder I might be forgiven for thinking that he’s trying out a nice new set of dentures.? Nice smile.

      😀 😀 😀 I did not notice those!
Two of my goobers cower in the back of the carrier when at the v-e-t. They will turn their backs turned to me in the carrier..so obviously I can’t find them. 😀

Such a happy kitty! It’s nice to see one at the dreaded v-e-t who’s not cowering in a corner like every cat I’ve ever been owned by has done.

My Cricket is absolutely the best-behaved cat when I take her to the vet. The techs tend to have problems finding her veins to do blood work because she’s so relaxed! She tends to just sigh and give me dirty looks. But then when it’s done she hops of the exam table and goes to plant herself in a corner facing the wall to sulk. Hee!

When the exam is over and I lift my Daisy off the exam table, she has to hide her face against my shoulder! Tweety just glares at me. Of course, being cats, five minutes after we get back home they are all, “Us, scared? That’s ridiculous; we are too cool to be scared!” ?

“What’s that? We’re going for ice cream after my checkup?” 😀

My mother’s cat Mika used to purr .so loud that they couldn’t hear her heartbeat. So they’d cover her nose or bop it gently so that she’d stop purring.

That was when she was young and sweet. When she was old and ornery she’d regularly draw blood despite the use of towels

My dad’s cat would always hide in the cabinet under the sink at the vet’s…and meow loudly, giving away his position. Dad tried explaining the concept of stealth, but I don’t think Truman ever really got it.

I had a cat years ago that was really sweet at home, we had to take him to the vet for a big bump on his neck once and the vet wanted to get a sample with a needle and Patch turned into ” the killer cat from outer space ” The next day she told us that what they finally had to do was shake him out of the carrier over a gas chamber and slam the cover on and turn on the gas. Once he was asleep she did the test and put him right back in the carrier ????

yikes, Gigi! I have a cat like that. Sweet as an angel, loves whoever shows up at the house, runs to the front door every time the doorbell rings to greet visitors. However, at the vet……… he turns into killer cat and makes noises like you hear cats make in horror films. The vet and tech wear the LONG leather gloves, but even that doesn’t help. There is a big red “X” on the front of his chart to warn future techs. Next time, they will knock him out before his appointment, “for his sake and for ours.” 🙁

Reminds me of the time I had to take my friend’s cat (one of two) to the vet. I pulled out the carrier and the cat that *didn’t* have to go to the vet? She ran behind a leg of the living room table.

Ummm. Sweetheart, you are bigger than the table leg. lol.
