Perfect Portions Every Time!

Counting your carbs but always measure out too much pasta? Then you need Snakeghetti™, the amazing new kitchen tool from NOMTOMCO. Snakeghetti encourages sensible carb intake in just three easy steps: 1. Leave pasta near Snakeghetti; 2. Watch as Snakeghetti automatically measures out the correct portion; 3. Run screaming from kitchen because holy crap there’s a snake in the kitchen!

    Bravo for NOMTOMCO!

  2. dubravkamcvmd August 24, 2016 / 1:26 pm

Mike I think you should post items from the NOMTOMCO catalog on the site on a regular basis. Hilarious!

It would be like the Acme Company from Road Runner!

      • dubravkamcvmd August 24, 2016 / 2:05 pm

        Exactly!

I still have my copy of the LLBean parody – one of my fave things was the Papal Thinsulate Cape, with a picture of John Paul II, known in some circles as J2P2. (The first one, some may remember, died shortly after being made pope)

    Even better than the Bass-o-matic!

    • debg August 24, 2016 / 2:30 pm

LOL! I’m old enough to remember seeing it for the first time!

    • Saffron August 24, 2016 / 3:17 pm

      Mmmm, that’s good bass!

NOMTOMCO needs to be a real thing.

Also, I would not run from a snake (assuming it’s not venomous). Especially one bearing pasta.

    • Laura August 24, 2016 / 2:14 pm

Me either. That’s a pretty little boa!

      • Rachel August 25, 2016 / 9:02 am

Gorgeous little snake, but that’s a ball python, not a boa. Either way, though, I would happily cuddle it.

        • Laura August 25, 2016 / 2:00 pm

I figured if I was wrong, you’d correct me. Pbbtht! (Relax, folks, she’s related to me, I can give her all the raspberries she deserves!)

          • Rachel August 25, 2016 / 7:50 pm

I was wondering how long it would take you to notice. 🙂

Not that the boa puns are unappreciated!

Available on Amazon over there, thataway……..?

    • Marianne August 24, 2016 / 2:43 pm

Amazon (Jungle). From America, down there, south of us, thataway….sorry, I don’t know how to put in a cute little finger pointing down.

    • Murray C. August 24, 2016 / 4:47 pm

      Not available in stores.

  6. Birdcage August 24, 2016 / 2:08 pm

Does NOMTOMCO also sell anvils? Black paint for painting fake tunnels on the side of mountains? Dehydrated boulders?

  7. Luv Bunny August 24, 2016 / 2:08 pm

I got a good laugh out of this one. If I saw a snake, in a knot around my spaghetti, I wouldn’t need to worry about portion control–? . Best carb diet incentive. Better the snake squeeze pasta than say, the family pet.

  8. Julie August 24, 2016 / 2:16 pm

    OMG – the hovertext!!!

  9. Marianne August 24, 2016 / 2:39 pm

Um. That snake has a triangular head. Umm …doesn’t that mean it’s Poisonous??? Sheesh, I’d be out of there so fast that all the furniture would turn over from the velocity. You know, like in the cartoons?

    • Laura August 24, 2016 / 4:19 pm

No, Marianne, it’s a constrictor, so not poisonous. It would only be a problem for you if you were a mouse. I don’t think it’s even big enough to eat a rat yet; it looks like a pretty young one. It’s obviously very healthy and well-cared for, too. A lovely little snake!

      • Marianne August 24, 2016 / 10:55 pm

Okay. I’m not a mouse or a rat, and you say it’s little, so I guess it can’t hurt me. But still…It’s a snake! And it’s on the kitchen table!

And, you guys are great with the puns and the funnies. I love it, and thanks.

      • Clairdelune August 29, 2016 / 4:47 am

        THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS A LOVELY SNAKE, LARGE OR LITTLE!!! :-{

        • Murray C. August 29, 2016 / 9:30 am

Clairdelune, sorry you find snakes so abhorrent, but if you could look dispassionately at their patterning and coloring you could find them beautiful. But I’m not asking you to take on the challenge – your level of revulsion is deep and not easily reversed.

I guess I can say boa-na notte to my spaghetti bolonaise tonight.

    • Haha August 24, 2016 / 4:09 pm

A little salmonella for your semolina?

      • allein ? August 24, 2016 / 4:15 pm

Boiling water should take care of that…

    • BB/VA August 24, 2016 / 6:19 pm

      Not spaghetti BOAlognese?

      • Faye August 25, 2016 / 12:36 am

        Too funny.

  11. Saffron August 24, 2016 / 3:18 pm

I presume the snakerson is not named Atkins then……

  12. Julie August 24, 2016 / 3:26 pm

    I’m hungry now 🙁

    • fkaWaldenPond August 24, 2016 / 3:42 pm

Me too Julie; I am actually having spaghetti Bolognese for dinner tonight and every time I flip to this site I am reminded that it is still hours away… 🙁

  13. margaret August 24, 2016 / 4:41 pm

There’s a snake in my pasta!

    • allein ? August 24, 2016 / 4:43 pm

      There’s pasta in my snake!

  14. JenDeyan August 24, 2016 / 5:30 pm

NTMTOM, you take the suggestion of offering merchandise on the site and called it NOMTOMCO. I would buy!

    • BB/VA August 24, 2016 / 6:21 pm

Should you decide to incorporate, it would be a great company name!

  15. Faye August 25, 2016 / 8:25 am

Snake is so handy. How can a snake be handy? No got hands.

    • Murray C. August 25, 2016 / 9:41 am

      ?

  16. Clairdelune August 29, 2016 / 4:38 am

Thanks a lot, Mike!!! Spaghetti happens to be my favorite food, well, it WAS my favorite food. It’s going to take a while to erase this image from my mind. I HAPPEN TO HATE SNAKES!!! AAARRGGHHH. Maybe I’ll still be able to eat rigatoni…. 🙁
