Memories of a Model

Oh, I was the toast of Paris back in the old days. And what carefree days they were, too — sleep until noon, then off to brunch in the bohemian cafe where all the artists gathered. They all wanted me to pose for them, too. It was because I was so easy to paint; all you needed was one color, you could be done in ten minutes, tops.

In fact, some of the best pictures of me started off as accidental ink spills.

Coincidence? Just looked at that poster yesterday!

Fantastic. Me thinks the humans obtained beautiful black kitty, then the poster in her honor.

That has been my favorite Toulouse Lautrec painting since I was a little girl. I think that’s why I love black cats so much.
