That dog is definitely saying, “Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy…”

It is so wonderful to see a person make a dog THAT happy. โค๏ธ?

This is pretty much the same reaction I get from my dog when she sees we’ve arrived at doggie daycare. She loves the doggie daycare.

My dog too!! I take her to a sitter I found on Rover.com and when he knows he’s going there, he practically drags me down the street. It’s pretty bad when you can be dragged down the street by a 17 lb min pin. And when he sees the sitter, he’s practically quivering with excitment. Too cute. And this doggy is soooo cute too.

I once got pulled face first into the pavement by a miniature Schnauzer. (I was 9; she saw another dog and took off. There were many tears but somehow no broken bones and no blood to speak of.)

My husband recently got pulled hip-first onto the pavement by our 32-lb cocker spaniel and got a bruise that went from his knee clear to his waist (and covered half his bottom, too). And he outweighs that dog by more than he wants me to mention. ๐Ÿ˜€ Dogs (and toddlers) make up in sheer determination what they lack in weight!

Haha, yeah they do. Lisa was a runner, too. After racing off on his bike to get my mom (we were way down at the other end of the street) my brother then had to go catch the dog. Luckily she at least stayed in the neighborhood when she escaped.

My dog gets that excited about walks. She gets them everyday but she is always super excited about them.

He’s just so darned glad it wasn’t the vet’s office!!

    • Faye September 22, 2016 / 10:46 am

My dog’s daycare is at the vet! He’s never sure if it will be playtime or shots. I’m not intentionally screwing with him. But I still feel bad.

My office is on the road to a dog park. I get such a kick hearing the barking and howling coming from the cars as they drive by on the way to the park.

You can always tell when the doggie daycare van is on its way!

    • mimidale September 22, 2016 / 11:01 am

Is there really a doggie daycare van?!!

      • Margaret September 22, 2016 / 11:13 am

Yep, what a glorious racket too!

        • mimidale September 22, 2016 / 12:00 pm

Doggy daycare van–that is such a great image–it makes my brain happy!! As for this video, I’m totally impressed by the dog’s awareness. You can see even before they turn off the road, pass the sign, or can see the park, the dog knows where they are by the visual cues!

Doggie Daycare van. I had a sudden image of the last part of the One Hundred and One Dalmatians book, where they all pile into a rented bus to go to their new home.

I like when the dog takes over steering the car. Come on Dad, lets get in there!

    • 6rabbits September 23, 2016 / 7:22 am

That’s my fav part! “You’re driving too slow dad!” I was grinning before that, but that’s where I burst out laughing!?

Am I the only one thinking doggie needs to be in a carrier or harness so he can’t jump around on the driver? I know they’re not going very fast but still. If he gets all excited while they’re on the road that could end badly.

    Still he’s very cute.

    • Stressfactor September 22, 2016 / 1:23 pm

If you look early in the video he’s being held by someone in the passenger seat who lets him wriggle free likely to capture this funny moment on video.

Okay then I feel better now. I was watching on my tablet outside and there was a bit of glare, so it was hard to see.

THANK YOU for mentioning the safety factor, Allein. We ALWAYS made sure our Chi was either in a crate (and the crate was in a seat belt) or he was in his booster seat with his harness on and both were belted in.

When will pet owners realize that pets in vehicles need the same safety precautions as hoomins? Holding on a lap is not good enough!!

Dog: “Who’s a good human? You are! Yes you are!”
