The Best Man’s Secret

Kevin watched silently as the couple exchanged their vows. Nearby, family and friends dabbed tears from their eyes, but their joy was nothing compared to the silent sorrow that crushed his soul. For all these years they had been soulmates, and now he was helpless to watch his true love marry another. Soon, the ceremony would be over, and the people would all be gone, and Kevin would be left alone to face the terrible truth: He would never see Roger again.

I’m seein’ a little resemblance between the bride and Kevin. Maybe Roger has some unresolved issues…

This is just making me think of the end of the Graduate.

D B, I was thinking of The Graduate too! 🙂 I’m sure he will hit the glass and scream Elaine, oops or Kevin.

A part of me wants to time how long I can last listening to them yell.

You may want to follow a live blogging of the debate or wait until tomorrow for highlights.

I’m going to wait for highlights. I get too emotional watching the actual debate.

The problem with live debates is that it frames the contest too heavily in terms of personality rather than policy. It’s nice when a strong personality pushes a sound platform, but the two are not strongly related.

I think watching highlights, waiting for tomorrow is the wisest choice for me. I want to smack his smug, nodding orange face and I realize that is not a productive, good frame of mind to view this in.

I’ve already told Trump to shut up three times.

Trying to figure out OnDemand on my parents TV. Maybe I can finally watch This is Us.

          • allein ? September 26, 2016 / 9:31 pm

This is Us already has me tearing up.
