Here’s a flashback to your first encounter with spinach as a child: A herd of burros transferred from the deserts of Arizona to the Montgomery Creek Ranch in northern California see grass for the first time in their lives and they are not too sure about it.
It’s like someone got their ass to Mars, Murray C.
Huh, I thought some rolling would be involved; I am sure that came later.
Btw, had a giggle thinking about this one this morning 😀
Burro baroo
Don Key Hotay dreams the impossible dream…
Wow! It’s fuzzy here. What gives? How’d it get fuzzy outside! Hey, we might as well be on Mars or somting.
What a trip! Literally. Love the snorfs of surprised caution.
The third one out (lt grey one) didn’t hesitate.
I don’t think the third and subsequent burros had any choice, because burros one and two had the only patch of safe dirt to themselves and weren’t moving from it.
Yup. That made the last two inadvertent heroes.
Oh, good point – I wondered why #3 and #4 were being so bold!
D’you…d’you think it’s safe?
?
Just wait till they figure out the new carpet is edible and delicious.
The first burro out the gate is my favorite. You can almost hear the tires screeching.
Also, this reminds me of a scene from “Galaxy Quest”:
I saw that movie with a friend who was big into Star Trek fandom and as hilarious as the movie was, the most fun I had was watching him cringe at the portrayal of fans in the convention scenes. LOL!!
Science. Breathe in. Still alive. We’re good.
One of my three favorite movies:
Galaxy Quest
Groundhogs Day
Sean Of The Dead
Perfect sendup of a genre.
Totally off topic here, but…
My best friend just came over and brought me two strawberry frosted donuts WITH sprinkles! She knew I’d been down early last week, and she went looking for some to cheer me up. She knows they’re my favourite.
How could I possibly be depressed with friends like that?!?!
Sprinkle donuts are the best. Almost as good as best friends.
Aww, that’s so thoughtful! Awesome 🙂
You step on it!! No you step on it!!! I’m not stepping on it!!! Hey, let’s get Mikey, he’ll step on it!!!
😀 Do you think there are kids in the jello tree next to this?
Cute and sad. Where have these babies been that they’ve never seen vegetation before??
They were in the desert in NM. Just different for them.
