Under normal circumstances, the phrase “bouncing off the walls” is just a figure of speech, but…

Our rabbit Fergus turns into a pin ball projectile when he a) sees the cat b) hears me sing
      c) hears a big noise (other than me singing) d) when something goes bump in the night (other than a rabbit foot) Pizza never figures into this behavior, however.

That is a GREAT bunny name, Fergus.

        • Juno October 4, 2016 / 10:06 am

It is–though I’d be tempted to go all out and spell it ‘Furgus.’

Do dogs react to oregano the way cats react to ‘nip?

Thanks for posting that – great story.

So cute! I love the pic of them all happily sandwiched together on the dog bed.

What a sweet story to come from such a horrible one! I love the kitty-in-the-middle snuggle pic. How wonderful Finn has such loving humans AND furry companions! And the video of Finn ignoring the cat’s invites to snuggle is ?.

Thank you for posting this, it makes a good start to my day!โ˜•๏ธ?โ˜•๏ธโ˜€๏ธ

Thanks to Joods for posting the link, the cat rubbing all over Finn’s face while he gnaw on his bone is precious.

I just want to thanks everyone who sent me positive thoughts, my husband is out of the hospital, he will have to go back for an ultrasound in 2 weeks, it seems it’s a pretty big kidney stone but the doctor hopes ill will pass on it’s own.

What a smile inducer! And the laugh track! Wheee!
A good note to take from Finn, celebrate the good and happy things.

Gigi, thanks for the update. Hope things continue on the upswing for you and yours. ??

Gigi, glad your husband’s home, and here’s to a calm passage (so to speak).

    • Murray C. October 4, 2016 / 9:30 am

GiGi, I’m so glad your husband is home and I certainly hope this episode will be in the past (passed???) SOON!

    • Faye October 4, 2016 / 1:09 pm

I too hope for a safe passage.

Gigi, I’m glad the news is relatively good and your hubby is home.

I feel stupid to ask this, but does anyone have a guess as to what that room is? I’m stumped. It has a bunch of certificates on one wall, and a big bulletin board on another. There’s a little fenced area in one corner, like to restrain a toddler or small pet. The floor is covered with I don’t know what, rubber matting? It’s a huge room yet almost completely empty — one folding chair is all the furniture we see. It’s too big to be an unused classroom (though that would explain the bulletin board). Any ideas? Is it obvious to everyone else?

    • Haha October 4, 2016 / 4:08 am

Don’t feel stupid, it would only be obvious to someone with experience. I’m sure you know things others do not.
With the added info that Finn’s person is a dog trainer, the room looks like it is in a dog training facility. The floor is for easy clean up of accidents. The open space is for moving around. The gated area might be for getting in. Kinda like a petting zoo or buterfly exhibit. Go in one area, shut the door or gate, then go into the next area. It keeps pups that are off leash safe from accidentally getting out. Most places have an area like this. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Juno October 4, 2016 / 10:08 am

Thanks, Haha–I was wondering the same thing.

      • George Michael Sherry October 5, 2016 / 4:02 am

Thanks, Haha. I read the story, but obviously too quickly, because I missed the part about animal training. Now it makes sense. The certificates were won by dogs they trained or are copies of those given to dogs that graduated from their training. The fence, as you said, is a vestibule or what, in a security situation, would be called a mantrap. Both doors should never be open at the same time.

And I apologize for apologizing too much. Wait, that only makes it worse! Hmm.

    Yup … That’s crazy bread

The mutt we had when I was a kid LUURRVED pizza crusts. He never reacted anything like this, but he sure did learn to recognize that big white box.

There can never be enough videos of pitties being adorable! If, one day, I am allowed to have a pittie where I live, I will know that there has been true progress in my lifetime!
