The Friendly Skies

Welcome aboard! I’m here to tell you about Pilots N Paws, a charity that helps pets find volunteer pilots to take them from kill shelters on journeys to loving forever homes, sometimes thousands of miles away.

I ate all the snacks, sorry.

The Pilots N Paws Facebook page is full of happy stories of dogs (and cats too) enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime plane trip into the homes of families who want them.

We have clearance, Clarence!

Pilots N Paws played an important role airlifting pets to safety after the recent floods in Louisiana.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy your free plane trip, thanks to Pilots N Paws!

Airplane! The greatest comedy movie ever!

Also, having doggies and puppies on planes could help many a nervous flier. More doggies should take to the skies!

I saw a short movie on them recently! They flew an airlift of over 120 dogs from LA to Northern Idaho, and dogs were being adopted off the tarmac as they were being unloaded! And ever single dog had a home within 2 weeks. It was just amazing. If only we could take ALL pups from kill shelters to lovely new homes in areas where there aren’t enough dogs up for adoption. And cats, too!

I think I’m broken… my eyes are leaking. Wonderful Wonderful People do exist! I don’t understand why I’m leaking because it actually makes me so happy!
Thank you for posting this additional info!

    I love this!

I got my calendar today (yay!), perfectly packed for protection but not overpacked (yay!). I love the picture of Mike with his pet statue, though it was a shock to discover that Mike does not actually look exactly like Al Hirschfeld’s caricature of Groucho. I didn’t spot a single Nina.
