We Have Ways of Making You Laugh

“So,you refuse to reveal the location of the stolen chew toys, do you kitten? Very well. We have ways of dealing with those who refuse to cooperate. I would like you to meet my associates, Mr. Rocko and Mr. Other Rocko. Perhaps they can persuade you to be more forthcoming. Boys, do your worst.”

*inserts clever comment about the dog-cat dynamic here which elicits an endless, increasingly embedded and entertaining comment stream from fellow denizens of Cutetropolis*

Insert: Erudite observation about the old adage about they may be tiny but they can psych you out every single time.

Cats achieve sociopolitical ascendancy, dogs salivate excessively?

        Yesssssss!

Utterly hilarious. One of the finest demonstrations of Cats Rule I’ve ever seen. I’m thinking the pups had it right. That kitten was very steely.

    Kitten: Are you my Mom?

Pugs: Holy moley, it’s after us!!

      Nailed it!

Giggle snorting outloud at work. Co-workers looking at me. I think one little pug pushed the other out front.

I love when the kitten realizes how much power it has over the pugs!

Thank you, Phred’s Mom, for elevating the discourse.

Did anyone look at the link to the watermelon beds? Someone has the wool round covered cave bed like Maru and Hana have. It’s $69!! It’s at the bottom of the first page. “Kittycentric Cozy Cat Cave Bed – Handmade 100% Wool, Large (Dark Grey/Cream)” I thought those were only available in Japan but here it is!!

    • Murray C. October 13, 2016 / 7:11 pm

OUCH! And how do you wash it if it’s wool, I wonder.

      • donna October 15, 2016 / 6:35 pm

I would just wipe it down. I don’t know about machine-washing it unless you meant to order a kitten bed in the first place. 😉

I came here looking for an explanation of the 16 down votes, but none of those people seem to have commented. Do they not like cages? Did they think it was cruel to allow the pugs to be terrorized by, what, 6 ounces of fluffy kitty? Were they worried (this is the only valid objection I can think of) that the dogs would switch from flight to fight (once they figured out there was nowhere to flee) and kill the kitty with one bite before a human could intervene? (That might be generally valid but I see nothing in the behavior of those specific pugs to suggest it, and whoever put them in the cage may have known that about the dogs.) What was the objection?

    • LunaChickFringe October 14, 2016 / 11:40 am

I was looking for the same thing. Maybe it’s just a way of being sympathetic to the poor puggies. Like a sad face on FB.

      • George Michael Sherry October 15, 2016 / 5:03 am

It’s now 23 down — almost a third of the total — and still no explanation. Is someone doing it as a prank? Wassup?
