So much nicer than those cheap cat storage systems…

? I just hope the pupster dresser doesn’t tip over!

Idea for Ikea – instead of a ball room – a PUPPY ROOM – where you can get your face slathered in puppy kisses while you wait.

        I’m in, Murray!

        YES!

Beats meatballs any day of the week!

        • Ricky's Mom October 20, 2016 / 12:01 pm

Well, how about a puppy room AND meatballs? I could go for that.

          • allein ? October 20, 2016 / 12:35 pm

I’d let the puppy eat the meatballs.

a Puppy room, a Kitty room AND a meatball room in-between the two – a meat ball lock if you will.

          • Murray C. October 20, 2016 / 6:10 pm

You mean those horse meat meat balls? (alleged)

      • Catwhisperer October 20, 2016 / 1:30 pm

I would prefer a KITTEN ROOM. They’d have to forcibly remove me every day at closing time!

    • EAG46 October 20, 2016 / 11:39 am

Would anyone notice if I borrowed the black kitten for a while?

    • Clairdelune October 20, 2016 / 2:52 pm

Allein, this is just my kind of furniture!!! Does this shelf come complete with the contents? If so, I may consider getting one for every room. 😀

*picks up yellow bandana’d pup and scurries away*

    • Gigi the cat lady October 20, 2016 / 10:53 am

I read yellow banana pup and thought, I hope BIRDCAGE doesn’t slip. 😀

      • allein ? October 20, 2016 / 11:24 am

I read banana’d pup as well.

I’m so glad you both are looking after my well being (both from a don’t-slip-on-banana-peel basis, and on an eat-more-potassium basis).

        • Catwhisperer October 20, 2016 / 1:34 pm

As if banana pup weren’t enough, there appears to be a cauliflower sheep in the background.

I’ve decided that instead of my current job, I want to be a food artist. Whose office is stocked with puppies and kittens. And an emotional support duck. Oh, and a baby koala.

          • Murray C. October 20, 2016 / 3:12 pm

What, no quokka? And I saw the cauliflower sheep and was duly impressed. Loved the banana dog – that’s a lot of personality for a couple of pieces of fruit stuck together.

Have you ever seen the Play With Your Food books? I think that’s where this is from.

I call foul – that is clearly a nice antique dresser, which is much superior to the Woof knock off. The Ikea version requires you to assemble it, has a particleboard back that was unsuitable for puppy storage, and the puppies ate all the pictogram instructions.

Plus, they make you buy the puppies separately! Which was not mentioned in the catalog!

This is remarkably like an oak dresser my grandfather made
roughly a century ago. Now in my bedroom, with undies,
tees, and sweaters only contained therein, alas. No puppies.

        Awwwwwww.☹️

Well I know my cats would not appove of this IKEA item, I on the other hand ….

  5. Elaine C Williamson October 20, 2016 / 12:36 pm

Those puppies are so cute wearing those bandanas.

  6. Mariana October 20, 2016 / 1:13 pm

the baroo on some of those pups is off the charts!!!

  7. Clairdelune October 20, 2016 / 2:59 pm

All this cuteness reminded me I just received my Cutetropolis Calendar – love it!! Love Mike’s picture also – hey, I pictured you as a very young man, your personality and wit being very young-at-heart. Good for you, never lose that gift, and you will be forever young.

    • Murray C. October 20, 2016 / 3:08 pm

Oh, he’s just prematurely grey. By the way, who is Bronzy??? You didn’t use the “chien perdu” system of casting, did you????

    • allein ? October 20, 2016 / 3:42 pm

Oh, now I have to open mine!

  8. Muppet2171 October 20, 2016 / 3:14 pm

I just wanna know how long it took to get 11 lab pups to pose for a photo all at once.
