And finally: A Moose Gets Loose

From Andrew Y., here’s a story of a moose trapped on a frozen Canadian lake, and the daring rescue that could put both moose and man at risk.

1- After being called ugly, I’m so glad Pig got to be a pretty ballerina in a pink tutu.
2- Is there anything that Japan can’t make cute?
3- Love cute pandas and albino raccoon
4- And finally, typical Canadian reporting, they tell you at the beginning that there’s a happy ending, heaven forbids you should worry for 2 minutes! And then they don’t actually show you the happy ending. I love my country but sometimes …. ? LOL!

Ha! Meanwhile, my nightly news teasers routinely imply some kind of doom and gloom only to find out the real story is quite different.

My favorite recently was an ominous-sounding “what did they find in the blood tests of that bus-crash driver?” implying, of course, there were drugs or alcohol involved…the answer was, in fact, “nothing.”

I think my favorite of today’s links is the leaf art. Just beautiful.

Hehe, yes – every night, our local stations have an atomic freak-out over something. A dusting of snow becomes “Winter Blast 2016″…I’m like, it’s December in New England – it’s going to snow!

And I love “Pig” the dog – how great that there’s a loving place for such an unusual, sweet pup!

I’d love to see more pix from “The Mutt-cracker,” esp. Herr Drosselmeyer with the black Great Dane – he’s already such a curious, enigmatic figure in that ballet and I think the dog is a perfect match.
