There Goes the Neighborhood

The harbor seals are enjoying a quiet afternoon at home, when suddenly a family of deer arrive, scouting out real estate. This produces a rapid series of vacancies, but there’s always that one stubborn coot who won’t sell.

    I was pretty gripped by that unfolding drama. More gripped than, perhaps, I should have been. I’m avoiding something on my desk at work – watching paint dry would be gripping.
