Forgotten Comics History

Marvel Comics fans of all ages are familiar with The Fantastic Four, the quartet of superpowered humans, but did you know that Marvel also attempted a spin-off featuring their pets? Titled “The Fantastic Fur,” the short-lived series focused on super pets including flexible Mr. Fantastic’s equally flexible dog (below), named “Stretchy.”

(Darn, the bad guys aren’t on THIS side of the wall either!)
