The Cold Shoulder

It’s cool, Mom. I just like to stay in the fridge. It’s not that I don’t like living in a warm climate, but I’m a husky and sometimes I just need to be in a cold place.

Great way to score some leftovers too, Cheryl S.

Are those eyebrow dots or ice cubes?

    Fortunately I can translate

    It goes

“Whose a good doggie, you are, you’re a good doggie”

Cuddling Miss Luna after a fridge session is probably uncomfortable! I snuggle my cats to get warmer, not colder!

    Miss Luna the pupsicle.

I’m with Luna — I’d crawl in that fridge, too, if it meant I could eat at that house! Yummy looking fridge contents (including, of course, Luna)!

“Luna, what are you doing there, mami (=baby)? How did you get there? Do you want to stay there? It’s already midnight muñeca (=doll), come to bed, muñeca….”

You get the idea.. Luna is gorgeous!!! I’d let her do pretty much anything

Now I’m wondering if you can get a doggy door for a fridge.

Luna looks like she’s in a Scandinavian black metal band. I love her angry eyebrows and upside-down-cross-with-bat-wings face. :3

Wolves Guard my Eggs, a lesser known Behemoth album. Something something, Transylvanian Hunger.

Luna would make an excellent black metal singer/howler. I would love to see the metalheads melting from the cute!

One of my kitties used to do that. I would get in the fridge to get something out, turn my back for a second and he would hop in. Many a times he had been shut in when I realized that something didn’t look right or I had really old and furry food in there:)

Stripes got in the freezer once when he was a few months old. I heard some thumping and thought he had gotten into the pantry cabinet next to the fridge, so I opened the door (even though if he was in there, he could have easily gotten out since the doors don’t latch) but he wasn’t there. Then I heard the thump again. Opened the freezer and he came tumbling out from the third shelf. He couldn’t have been there for more than a few minutes but he never did it again.

How does one get into the freezer so quickly. I can see the fridge since it is at stealth level, but the freezer would be more of a challenge. That never stopped Ollie from doing it again and again. I always had to make sure I checked the fridge if he wasn’t around. The longest he probably spent in there was 5 mins. He never made a sound or tried to get out. We had to be really careful.

          Side-by-side fridge/freezer.

Our goofy orange tabby climbed into the fridge once and straddled a small watermelon we had in there. Ever since then we’ve referred to a full-body hug, where you wrap your arms and legs around a person, as a “watermelon hug.”
