    They’re dressed like Easter eggs!

This adds new meaning to the question “Who are you wearing?” referring to designer clothes.

On looking closer at this image I have a sinking feeling that these buns are in a pet shop window to be sold for Easter – it’s the time of year rabbit rescue organizations hate the most. If only people did their research before getting a rabbit – and if only pet shops only sold what you need to look after your pet rather than live animals.

I agree 100% and wish these pet stores would quit trying to fool the public that they really care for animals. It’s all about the $$$$. Or they wouldn’t be “selling” animals from breeders and worthless, unhealthy pet products and food. One example is that cedar and pine shaving litter are not good for rabbits but many an employee will show me and then I nicely inform them that’s not healthy for them. They look at me like I have 2 heads.

Judging from the newspaper text and clothing/shoes of the people in photo – this photo is from South Korea. It’s common practice to sell small pets (bunnies, birds, turtles) on the sidewalk or at open air markets. This photo likely has absolutely nothing to do with Easter.

Well, Easter or not, I can only hope that these buns ended up in homes where they’re cared for and loved.
