Today is also Goof Off Day. I could watch this birdie for a while, certainly. Then maybe go back to looking for Alan Rickman with cats on that Instagram page.

    It’s also my cousin James’s birthday. ?

Alan Rickman is a little hard to spot – he’s in a suit, looks very grim-faced and has a shaved cat on his shoulders (at least the hind quarters are saved)

Yes, I had to read the caption to be sure it was him – not the most flattering pic. Somewhere I saw a pic of him cuddling a koala (or maybe a wombat) – it was ages ago, but I’l see if I can find it.

Crap, why do the good have to die young????

Oooh goodie, it’s goof off day. Just what I need since I’m not feeling particularly motivated to do anything work related or otherwise. My dog had the best idea, stay home and sleep under the blankets as it a grey, rainy day here in SoCal.

Can’t see the picture and when I click the words, I get an “imgur simple 404 page”. Has the image been removed?

Seems to be a work firewall issue. It doesn’t trust the URL. I’ll just wait until I get home.

Confirming – it’s working on my computer (out-of-date Mac desktop). So cute!

Some one looks like he/she is “HOPPING MAD (err) HAPPY !!”

    (Amazon Bottled Water (rain) Dance?)

Can we get him a bird-sized hippety hop?

      • Murray C. March 22, 2017 / 2:01 pm

Wouldn’t that be carrying coals to Newcastle? He is an adorable little bird – makes me want one but I have to resist. I am ever amazed at what joy can be gotten from seeing a bird hop about like a little crazy thing.

Oh, NTMTOM, you’re speaking my language!

By the way, the Munsters are not dubbed in Austria, but shown with subtitles. When Herman says “ohboyohboyohboyohboy” the subtitle is literally translated: “Junge! Junge!”

Is this some unusual rite of spring, petitioning the fertility gods for a bountiful harvest?
